There is a doofus currently arguing here that no "creative talent" would choose to write tie-ins, and since I just did a panel this weekend on why creative talents choose to write IP, here are a few reasons. Non-financial reasons, for fun and because frankly it usually doesn't pay that well.

Oof. This episode is going to take a while. It's very ambitious. But also, retooling for blender 5.2 is an agonizing trudge, because of the constant barrage of breaking changes the devs have been making.

I really don't think folks who weren't there grasp just how much these generations really were shamed or even prosecuted for stuff that giant companies do all the time now like ffs, websites used to shame people for 𝘩𝘰𝘵𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 images without paying the site that hosted it for their bandwidth!

I've been saying this for a while. *If* someone does genuinely believe that the AI models they are making could become sentient/aware, then they really need to explain how, if that were true, they aren't creating permanent slavery for thinking beings. It's either a lie, or deeply monstrous.

I'm working on the next episode, which is going to use Twilight taking up Juicebox on his recent game night offer as a framing device. So...RPG costumes! this one needs so many assets I'm happily just snarfing up assets without lovingly customizing them, but I want them to still suit the characters

I have lots of people who I know online, and like talking to, but who I never message. It doesn't work well to just say "hey, what's up?" but the alternative is either to just randomly talk about something I find interesting, or pepper them with questions to get them to talk. hashtag-autismproblems😅

This is the part when, having finished a big project, I flail around feeling like "woe is me, no ideas, head empty, art done forever" Just like every time. Fortunately, I've recognized the pattern by now, so I know it will be okay.
