Get stuff done?? Damnit Kamala just drop out of 2028 now. The ONLY thing post midterms to “get done” is to stop and investigate Trump for 2 years.

Kamala Harris: I think that going in the direction of impeachment is not a good idea. I was in the Senate for the last go-round, and the votes aren’t there. I think after the election, we all have to just also agree that our attitude has to be to get stuff done…

As I said, Max Dowman is lucky this challenge didn't break his ankle. And the commentators, instead of decrying this potentially career-ruining shit or the referee's inexcusable decision, tut-tut about his response.

Nothing screams “The Aristocrats!” like having one frivolous DOJ prosecution interrupted by a DOJ lawyer informing the court that a grand jury declined to return an indictment in a wholly separate, even more frivolous prosecution.

And now we know what this was about!! Life >>> Fiction

Anna Bower@annabower.bsky.social

To be clear: The grand jury return was not for this case! The magistrate just had to pause to deal with returns from other cases. And the first one happened to be a no-bill. bsky.app/profile/anna...

WaPo reports this no-bill was the Cassidy Hutchinson case www.washingtonpost.com/national-sec...

Now we're on a break while the magistrate deals with grand jury returns. Neville Hedley for DOJ civil rights division shows up. Magistrate Faruqui: Do you have a return for us? DOJ: It's a non-concurrence, your honor. [AKA a no-bill 😂😅☠️]

This DOJ is proving itself to be led by a bunch of political hacks - and thank goodness not all that competent ones (see eg the failed Information against Comey).

Anna's thread here ended up being 100 posts long. I cannot believe that we're *still* dealing with bullshit made up conspiracy theories about "Hunter Biden's Laptop" in the year 2026. Here's my 2022 post about how much people get wrong about it. www.techdirt.com/2022/12/07/h...

BREAKING: In a blistering order, Judge Hinderaker details how the Trump admin only has done anything in the case of Ahmed Soliman when ordered to do so. As such, he now orders DOJ to address each of the 11 steps he sees as being needed to bring Soliman back to the U.S.

The CA vote purge case just keeps getting weirder. Yesterday the DOJ filed supplemental declarations, including from a Shasta Co official named Clinton Curtis, who turns out to be a wackodoo who claimed he could tell fake ballots by smell. www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...

... a Trump Truth Social post last night made things a whole lot worse. He reiterated that the golf course will be closed starting Nov. 15 "to renovate and rebuild," prompting Judge Reyes to put DOJ No. 3 Stan Woodward on notice and to order him to appear in person at the next hearing to explain.

So hard to pick a favorite part of this article. Pretending that sending unsolicited dick pics at 53 was a “youthful indiscretion” is good, but don’t sleep on the argument that his wife forgave him for subjecting other women to unwanted nude photos so everyone else should too

The Department of Justice invented a new way to lose in court today.

DOJ asks for clarity, and MJ says that he will not rubber stamp second complaint as DOJ has suggested. He won't sign it unless he has time to review and make probable cause finding...So for now we're going to move forward with preliminary hearing on basis of first complaint.

The president's reaction to Obama's Cheesecake Factory joke, however, is mentioned on the homepage twice

Derek A reposted

There was a brand new allegation that the president raped a woman in the 1990s yesterday and it appears to not be on the NYT homepage at all right now

Dave Levitan@davelevitan.bsky.social

It is short and so I assume they are looking into things but it is... interesting... that the NYT piece on the new House Dems report on Trump ties to Epstein simply does not mention the brand new rape allegation and says whatever this is instead www.nytimes.com/2026/10/26/u...

I emailed Patrick Healy, assistant managing editor for standards and trust at NYT, to ask why their story about a House report with new details of rape allegations against the President of the United States included neither those details, nor a single use of the word "rape." archive.is/1s9AM

Derek A reposted

Yes, yes, the renewed accusations that the president is a serial rapist and was an active participant in Epstein's pedophilia and sex trafficking would seem alarming, but it doesn't involve the Cheesecake Factory so ...

The media won’t say it because Dems won’t say it. It wasn’t the media that nicknamed the ACA Obamacare. A judge had even said that called Donald a rapist isn’t defamation! Maybe Dems are worried about some of the issues men in their own party have…..

Andy Craig@andycraig.bsky.social

I know there's a lot going on but I feel it should probably be more of an above-the-fold story that members of Congress released a thoroughly documented report directly accusing the president of the United States of being a serial rapist.

This might be the best game the Rams defense has played so far. Not many splash plays, as to be somewhat expected without Myles Garrett and Trent McDuffie, but they're stuffing the run, putting the game on Kirk Cousins and winning all the money downs at the moment.

I’m getting more 2020 vibes this season than 2022 vibes. Rams have injuries yes but this defense can travel. Shit Rams Defense should have gotten them an extra win were it not for the refs
