Wab Kinew calls on Ottawa to abolish Indian Act: "I'm not sure if that lines up with your vision of Canada, that we still have a race-based form of identification in this country. It's long overdue that we have a relationship with Indigenous peoples that reflects who we are as Canadians today."

Bill C-39 is a fundamental attack on our constitutional rights. We will not stay silent as Carney’s Liberal government violates our human rights. Standing in solidarity against Bill C-39 with Indigenous leaders, unions, environmental activists. Winnipeg Centre knows how to fight back.

The US is not about to have a free and fair election. The state has put its thumb on the scale to favor the ruling party in multiple ways. It's a mostly free, somewhat unfair election. But still one where the ruling party can be overwhelmed by numbers. Hence the term "competitive authoritarianism."

It is atrocious we have to operate under this constant credible and explicit threat from one political party, the fact we keep calling it a “free and fair election” needs some light revising

we do truly need to break free of neoliberalism and recover our sovereignty, our ability to shape our destiny and carve out our place in the world, control our energy, water, & natural resources, digital & cultural spaces. We are in a battle for sovereignty but do we agree on what that means?

Bradford’s argument is water could never be privatized under his plan because it would require the *Doug Ford Majority Government* to change provincial legislation. And that would never happen, right? They don’t have a history of heavy-handed juristidictional overreach, RIGHT?

Shopify's CEO is on X advocating for Brad Bradford to win because of a City of Toronto post about speed limits featuring two men and a stroller, something he clearly doesn't think will happen under Brad's rule. This is the guy who thinks rich people deserve more votes. This is who Brad attracts.

Remember: Wealth cannot be separated from power. We're seeing in real time how the extreme concentration of wealth is distorting our politics, rigging markets, and granting unprecedented power to a handful of people. Taxing the rich isn't just an economic issue, it's a defense of our democracy.

The fact that the president's doctors are giving him the dementia test over and over again -- tracking his decline, most likely -- and that the president keeps bragging about having to take that test should be a five-alarm fire.
