"He is not an American president but a MAGA president, someone who leads red states with magnanimity and leads blue states like the head of an occupying force." - @pbump.com

Having spent a number of years in the Pittsburgh area (and attending college at Indiana University of Pennsylvania), it is my obligation this morning to post the passing of Pittsburgh rock icon Donnie Iris. Iris was 83 and played his last concert on September 28. In his hometown. As it should be.

It's striking how a 15-year-old shooting close to a dozen people, 5 of them children, sparks one political candidate to say there is something wrong and the other candidate to stress how important it is that everyone and anyone can carry a gun in America. 👉 archive.today/sRldT

All other criticisms aside here, it’s insane because there’s one senate seat they can’t afford to lose the whole party is smearing 500 million people.

Miami criminal defense attorney David O. Markus discusses the way the Trump administration has chosen to indict James Comey for the third time. "No grand jury. No waiver. DOJ says the point is to toll the statute of limitations while it keeps investigating." Links to court documents are included.

It's just straight up harassment now. That's all this is. When this is all over, dozens of DOJ lawyers need to be disbarred across the country.

In his latest 'Takes," @jamellebouie.net considers the record amount of money Musk has been injecting into Republican races across the country and why the GOP needs to answer for his white supremacist views.

Here's the other thing...while a bigoted governor or a racist president is just one man, every single vote for those politicians is a reflection of support for that racism or bigotry & reveals the depth of the problem that America faces today. If you reject racism, why support it with your vote?

An intrepid journalist at his next press conference...this is all it takes. Journalist: "Are you aware there was a mass shooting just blocks from your residence this weekend where there were 11 people shot, 5 of them children?" Gov. Ron DeSantis: "Yes" Journalist: "No follow up. Thank you."
