Democratic-aligned group Progress Action Fund has released a PRO-trans ad, attacking Republicans for being creepy in bathrooms.
It will run in Texas and Ohio, and is expected to reach millions.
You have to see the ad itself.

Sometimes the underdog story just ends with the underdog getting beaten to death with hammers.
Commission of my #Vanitera commander, Leonardo Uberti, by the unbelievably talented @tapeworrm.bsky.social!
This is too cool of a thread idea to pass up on – I've got to try this with my own games.
"The kind of tv show each of my games would be if I was given the budget to make tv shows instead of a #ttrpg:" 1/7
In lieu of yet another objectively correct opinion on the "Rule of Cool," I present you a thread of the kind of tv show each of my games would be if I was given the budget to make tv shows instead of ttrpgs.
I run games like a writers' room, I write them to help you run them like tv shows. 1/14
The one year anniversary of #OVER/UNDER? Crazy!
I didn't get into O/U as heavily as I have other Cataphract games, but I did have some fun making weird space whale cult stuff that my character, Atherton Abel, got into.
I never got around to starting my whale-themed junk shop.
Oh yeah, I also tried to make up an expanded version of Humoral medicine, because my character was a medic and I didn't want to try to be realistic with it.

I was given free rein to add all sorts of weird points-of-interest throughout the map, so we've got all sorts of weird ruins, caves, giant birds, monster habitats, colossal fertility statues, and oversized vegetables.

Who doesn't have fond memories of when grandpa took 'em out to the ol' fishing hole? It wasn't til years later that you learned fishing holes were supposed to have water in 'em, or that you weren't supposed to toss a burning effigy into the fishing hole while reciting the ancient verses.

When I think about this chained up mountain, I get that same sick feeling I got at the part of Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland, when the titular Nemo opens the big scary door he's not supposed to. I had to leave the room at that part. Don't do it!
The faction I'll be playing are certified swampfolk, living in ramshackle settlements built on the more sturdy bones of ancient ruins. They pay us in woims!

Collect the giant pearl from the mouth of the giant clam to socket it into your armor for +3 Water Resistance. What do you mean that's not how this game works?
Oh, and don't forget to check behind the waterfall.

Some people live in subterranean mountain cities, surrounded by mushroom forests!
It was a lot of fun figuring out how to represent a subterranean city on the map.

This big purple vulture may hold great wisdom. Might also be hungry. But if you're not carrion yet, you're probably safe. Maybe it can teach you some bird magic. Or bird lore. Or bird music.

And check out these hippos in the swamp! I'm sure they're friendly. Also don't worry about the smoldering ruins of nearby towns. The hippos are innocent.
Colossal fertility statue, just one of many. Is she carrying a colossal dish of grapes? Weary travelers should try to scale the towering statue to find out!

I've spent the last 2.5 months working on a map for a #cataphract game – here's a rough gif of the process. This is 70 hours of mapping in just 14 frames.
I'll share the full map soon.
It's no longer enough to give APs a tut-tut about continuing to play DnD. There are plenty of things that disqualify the Hasbro Ampersand but it's simply unacceptable to claim you support queer and marginalized people while still boosting the Brand.
I still can’t believe that a nut job exclaimed, “They’re eating the cats, they’re eating the dogs” and millions of Americans said, “That’s the guy I want as president.”
I just had the weird realization that choosing not to use AI feels a lot like choosing to use a computer rather than your phone for pretty much anything, only ramped up in intensity. You'll be constantly bombarded by people who can't understand why you'd do it, and tools assuming phones are the norm
New map I've made for another Dark Devices campaign I'm planning.
Had fun with a different approach for me on the mountain and forest styles. Also felt like making a whole new in-world alphabet for this setting.
