- new intro: a list! - Brooklynite > a dozen years - life work: learning + loving Jinjin & Sol - work work: new vision for social publishing @leaflet.pub - love books & making lists & making lists of books - into walking, running, stepmaxxing - many side projects wip/tbd - let's get coffee? - or 🏀?!

I'm about to see Everything with @jinjin.bsky.social but mediated by the experience of a matinee baby screening where the theater is full of infants, should add a fun additional layer to the truth seeking slash effacing cinematic spectacle

If you are thinking of ways to handle digital asset ownership on AT Proto, let's connect! we need an equivalent to @standard.site for commerce.

Cool, I'd missed that there's a new community-led org @nano2point0.bsky.social picking up the NaNoWriMo torch after the original org shut down! Idea: we can do NaNoBloMo / NaNoNewMo too (blogs & newsletters!) — use @leaflet.pub & challenge yourself to write each day, fiction or otherwise!

Do you, too, want the internet to be better — and have some ideas for making it happen together? Great post *and* a great example of our new "replies" block in @leaflet.pub! Reply with your own blog post (Leaflet or any @standard.site post) to extend the conversation in the atmo/blogosphere!

tfw you walk around in the perfect fall weather all day with your fam and then your neighbor gets you a plate of food and a beer when you stop by the annual cornhole tournament for her lesbian softball team she hosts in the parking lot of the glassblowing studio behind your house…damn I <3 brooklyn

Thinking about limited run / pop-up publications @leaflet.pub I think fun as a format, different writer <> reader relationship & diff dynamic w/ one-off paid thing vs ongoing membership, could be a nice way for folks to try leaflet w/o migrating a whole pub… Thoughts? Who'd be into this?

Should I try to recruit ppl from Park Slope Parents to bluesky & the atmosphere? 🤔 Y / N

Bout to go on a short walk, or a "schwa"…that's right, I invented a new named brand of special walk

Make your website on Leaflet!!! It takes minutes to to create and update something nice~ Excellent for blogs, newsletters, comics, portfolios, novels, tutorials, poems, photography, link in bios, and more! (all real things people built on Leaflet!) Ie, Sygnin's excellent comic! nowherecomic.com

he didn't even mention we added masonry layout to our image gallery...

wow k @awarm.space & @cozylittle.house shipped a *lot* while I was on parental leave…tl;dr: duplicate leaflet / improved outliner / versioning / print styles / recommends block / tag drawer / improved canvas (& drawing!) / email-only posts / scheduled publishing / reply block / questions block…

Important tradition: reading new baby Eunoia by Christian Bök, to make sure she develops an ear finely attuned to the pleasures and powers of language

Just testing (will delete this post at some point) but if you want to 👀 the new 'reply' & 'question' blocks in Leaflet, curious what you think You can try submitting a question, or replying with a post of your own…to try as an author, lmk, I can turn on for you (& we'll roll out for everyone soon!)

> dope weird huge art space that's Judgy Baby btw, keep an eye out if you're in the area! judgybaby.com

Excited to see this, really cool vision coming together for modular creator-centered $ infra for the atmosphere! And good shout here @joebasser.com 🙏 :D > Brendan described a useful way of thinking about this in "On Atmospheric Stacks…" scraps.schlage.town/3msbxjttpqk2l

I like this haha… would love to hear any other ideas / fun constraints for publications you'd love to see someone experiment with on @leaflet.pub (maybe we can help??)

What are the feeds, people, categories of information, that you’re only able to find on Bluesky and nowhere else? Just curious…

more writing is becoming available via standard.site ! in pub-search.waow.tech ‘s current index, in february 2026 documents averaged ~68/day sept averaged ~248/day… 3.6× more !! (which oct is matching so far!)

we're all out here just wishin' for some swishin' in this basketball game called life 🏀

Anyone game to test a couple new @leaflet.pub blocks in the next day or so before we announce em? New interactions: one's a way to let readers ask you q's & you reply inline, the other a way to let folks reply with a post of their own (& you approve which show) which could be fun for blog prompts!

Visited more cool artist studios & spaces this year at Gowanus Open Studios, including a dope weird huge art space right around the corner, opening next year & starting some public previews Really enjoy learning how rich an arts scene is core to this neighborhood, makes me wanna get involved more!

Use @leaflet.pub!! Websites, portfolios, blogs and newsletters for artists writers and creatives! Zerooo code needed, very themable!!! It’s free for most but emails need the pro plan I am sooo friendly pls DM me with questions or suggestions! bsky.app/profile/leaf...

BLOOD FOR THE BLOG GODS

Noodling…would anyone be interested in sponsoring a lil blogging contest on a given topic / prompt? @leaflet.pub could cosponsor & promote & give the winner leaflet pro I think it'd be fun & no need to be some huge thing, could be like $100, ideally we try a few Reply if that sounds interesting!

make sure to RSVP for Monday's event if you've not already <3

Okay we've been working a ton on *publishing tools* in @leaflet.pub; I'd like to hear what *writing tools* you'd find useful! For example — I love our subpages feature for having e.g. outline/draft side by side… Other ideas: word counter or timer blocks? ways to open links inline? what else??

huh………just what *is* @leaflet.pub cooking up anyway?!?

Reminder that if you're a parent, or also if you're not a parent, you should have a pocket ball with you at all times so that if you pass a playground or a nice wall that you can bounce a ball off of or stop in a place where you can toss a ball into the sky and catch it, you'll be prepared

Oh you're a weirdo? Great tell me about some weird shit on @leaflet.pub we literally made it for youuuuu <3

wow…………I should make a cold brew slushy every afternoon at 4pm after walking nineteen thousand steps

Alright y'all it's just me this week holding down the leaf fort 🙌🍃 I'm not on vacation but I am still very part time b/c new baby so plz excuse me if I'm a little slow to reply :) FYI this would be a great week to share cool things you're making & exploring & publishing with @leaflet.pub !!!

Always! Be! Walking!

*realizing what I've been posting about while out on family walk today* ohhhhhh my brooklynpoasting & my opensocialspacepoasting are the same thing actually hmm wow Jane Jacobs would have loved atproto

'fuck substack'…but in a subtle, tasteful way :) (use @leaflet.pub!)

Whole Foods would be the perfect grocery store if only they'd get off their high horse and sell me cheez-its

can anyone guess what's cookin??? 👀
