I believe we just need to shrink AI. It could be a little beneficial, with a lot of restrictions. - use a whole lot less energy and resources(non-negotiable) - only be used experimentally or for limited use cases - data must be preserved(leave books and copyright alone) - small and local only

It's those data privacy ones which really concern me. But it's also just... a very basic loss of a future where we had decided we Solved a Problem. Cars could age much more gracefully if they weren't expected to be interfacing with so many services which come and go and left that to the tech people
