Everyone should read these threads I did about industry lobbyists and the EPA and understand them. Take the time to see the unambiguous evidence of what's happening now at this moment inside the EPA. Please retweet them. Please read them. Each one of the threads. It's happening in slow motion.

Trump and Musk are just stringing Ukraine along and letting Russia attack it with impunity. And the American press is foolishly falling for blue smoke and mirrors, arguing whether Musk or Trump are responsible. Hint, they both are!

No, not irreversible. But it will almost certainly take more than one Democratic term to fix. Which is why I’ve been so insistent that folks stop the goddamn purity tests and vote responsibly in November. We aren’t looking for perfect candidates. We’re looking for better than Republicans.

On the one hand we have examples of open corruption from one party - DeSantis shows its not just Trump - that no-one really expects will be punished. OTOH, we have people like DeSantis and Trump firing prosecutors, and targeting political opponents with politically motivated prosecutions.

Todd Blanche: “I am not sure of the uproar of having a Border Patrol or ICE agent at a polling location. What's the risk?” Uhm, maybe because it’s illegal? Federal statute 18 U.S.C. § 592 prohibits deploying “troops or armed men” to locations where elections are held. An AG should know this.
