Wonderful work. Reading between the lines in the interviews, it sounds like this collection was more work than they’d expected, but I will be forever grateful. The credits are surprisingly moving. No surprise to see comments calling for an international release, but I‘m not holding my breath tbh.

I‘m not up to speed with the OoT remake discourse, but I will say this: There is something really unique about 32/64-bit visual styles. However, it feels like these were styles that were never explored. Graphics in games nowadays are prettier, but there was something lost in the HD era and beyond.

Perhaps a personal failing, but I can't think of many things I love that I would want to see buried and painted over. I can't think of anything I love that I need saved from the context of it's creation. But often I feel like people don't love things. They love the memory of things.

I’ve been considering being more active on Discord, but… Is there a setting I can change so that it displays a rational date format?

Everything about this game seems to check the right boxes, and yet this feels entirely superfluous. Nothing feels Wai Wai about it, and I’d argue it should have been a Castlevania or Contra Maker. Modern Konami is a curious company. Their IPs are a blessing and a curse at the same time.
