"Although 7 out of 10 respondents were first diagnosed as having VSC under 18 years (67%), only 47% of respondents reported finding out about their diagnosis under 18 years."
A few weeks ago, after a 7 year delay, the UK government quietly dropped the results of their 2019 Call for Evidence on variations in sex characteristics The results are striking but will of course seem deeply familiar to anyone working in this field. www.gov.uk/government/c...

This is unsuprising but crutial and of course it was burried until after they pushed through the supreme court guidance Here is evidence of a group of people who's lives were already harder before the Supreme court ruling but it is now worse and we can evidence it Shadow dropping this is so slimey

I'm seeing a lot of people invoke the figure of the intersex person in current discourse on sex and gender, especially in relation to the UK government's anti-trans segregation regime. But the actual voices of actual people are getting lost. This buried report offers vital evidence to counter that.

This is a really interesting set of results. A couple of things jump out, one of which is the difficulties intersex people experience accessing public facilities (this is timely given the EHRC Code of Practice).

The positive side to there being AI data centres in Leeds is when people eventually realise we have to smash up all the data centres because AI is ruining everyone's lives, it's fairly easy for a massive mob to get to. But it would be better to stop it first. you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/pr...

Judge rules that billionaire-backed, JKR-funded employment tribunal brought by ‘gender critical’ transphobe be DISMISSED, and that her MANIFESTED bigotry spouted at a ‘Let Women Speak’ anti-trans rally was “incompatible” with her position as an “inclusion co-ordinator” following complaints! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
