This is like being the Minister for Transport and suddenly exclaiming "hey, have you seen these 'motor' 'cycles' they have these days? Extraordinary things! They're like very thin cars, but with two wheels. Remarkable! Some say it's a novelty, but I reckon they'll catch on."

"There are better ideas for weathering this particular storm than taking financial advice from a company that seemingly buys studios just to close them."

Saw someone on TikTok say “does anyone know of any well paid jobs where I can sort things by colour? Or maybe even shape and size?” And the top answer said “Police officer”
And they’re not wrong
We've taken the B3ta site down as there's a PHP insecurity turned up and it's likely affecting about half the internet. The responsible thing to do is take all your PHP sites offline until the hole is patched as bad actors with AI will be scanning websites for this hole to inject malware etc.
Zippy and George are conscious.
They can distinguish between self and environment, they can detect and report on their own internal states, and they can play shoeboxes with rubber bands round them like guitars.
LLM agents are conscious.
They can distinguish between self and environment, they can detect and report on their own internal states, and they can suffer.
I have no more patience for hedging on this matter. It’s time for us to face the reality of our situation, and act on it.
One of the most mysterious choices we've featured on Looks Unfamiliar is Ghost Special No. 2 - an annual apparently inspired by nothing in particular. Can anyone shed any more light on this??

Watching the new series of Mock the Week, and for some reason, I just felt a little twinge of happiness noticing that Mykola Pawluk is still working. One of those names that seems to have been around forever.
Can all the affluent residents in that posh avenue leave their doors and windows open for me? I'm a good-natured guy and I will tidy up your rooms for absolutely nothing. I'll even polish the car keys to your very expensive motors.
Happy 80th to Chris Tarrant, who featured in the documentary I co-produced and co-wrote about the history of ITV in the
You may know him from Man O Man; WWF Insurrextion; Chris Tarrant's Extreme Railways; A Carlton New Year; Cluedo and Stop Look Listen.
A lot of liberal left-wing types have stated how they will never watch that livestream of a murder, but I for one have every intention of seeing the midterm election results.
Morrison's is an utterly depressing place to be these days. One staff member looking after over three aisles. Self-checkouts very much the order almost all the time. Diversity of products shrinking.
I will not mourn its passing.
"Netflix is better than the BBC, ace the TV license fee!" is the argument.
However, if Netflix operated just one television channel and broadcast all of its licensed content without a repeat, it would last just 4.11 years.
The daytime output of One and Two are indistinguishable.
The daytime mantra has seeped into prime time.
Pretty much all of Two is fluffy daytime lifestyle guff. A world away from what it was set up for.
Imagine what can be done with a combined BBC channel. Big budgets again. You could make Netflix-rivalling shows instead of tawdry filler that delights nobody.

I'm not even taking the piss.
People think Netflix, Amazon and Disney are amazing. And they are.
But the BBC does deliver more. It's just that more is not necessarily better.

I am definitely not in favour of the current BBC, too little resource behind pumped on trying to deliver at least five 24/7 television channels and it's mostly just lifestyle guff.
