Pele is a fast, beautiful, open source renderer for Mermaid diagrams we created for the next version of Obsidian. You can already try it in the Pele playground and integrate it into your own apps! 🌋 pele.run

This sounds really interesting. Debugging in WinDbg isn't easy because you need to understand the fundamental concepts. I can imagine this is a great way to learn Windows internals and WinDbg.

Obsidian 1.14 is now available with five major improvements: 1. Edit Markdown files outside your vault 2. Preview files using macOS Quick Look when the app is closed 3. Instantly add notes with Quick Capture on iOS 4. Kanban and new grouping options in Bases 5. Highlight colors

The Azure policy 'Configure Microsoft Defender CSPM plan' doesn't offer options to configure 'API Security posture management' and 'Serverless protection'. I opened a Microsoft support case so the Azure Policy team can address this. I'll post updates as they come.

I suppose I should explain. Credential Manager, aka CredMan, aka cmdkey, is this thing.

Steve Syfuhs@syfuhs.net

Dang it. @scott.hanselman.com shamed our team on the credential manager [UI] in Windows. He built a better version of it. We should ship it. github.com/shanselman/C... Remind me to tell the story of our Garage project to ship a full password manager a few years back.

It seems there is an issue with the Microsoft Dev Box API. Microsoft is working on a fix, but it hasn't been released to production yet. Right now, it's just returning a 500. #DevBox #Microsoft

I know.. I'm a bit late.. but it's a very interesting presentation about how Microsoft is looking forward to Rust and using it already in several code pieces.

It is honestly impressive how consistently HP's software developers are unable to close process handles when they are done with them. If you have a handle to the process and then the process dies then some of the metadata about the process is forced to be retained until you close the handle.
