1Passsword is acting in bad faith. They claim they support a wide array of entities, specifically the Rails Foundation, a DHH controlled entity. They say they support Linux, but it's really a DHH controlled distro they get bloatware-packaged in. Bunch of malarkey.

holy shit bsky has a water sealant expert that predicted the reflecting pool failure mode perfectly

They're using Rhino Pipeliner 5000, which freezes as sprayed-on curds almost exactly as it hits the surface. Won't flow out, flatten, and self-level like standard epoxy or paint would. Under standing water, the orange peel texture is a perfect scaffolding for algae, bacteria, and general bio scum

He's obviously doing it himself which is crazy, but weirdly what they're pretending to do is kind of worse: that real adult DOJ attorneys are writing briefs in the voice of obviously impersonating Trump. It's like if you inexplicably filed something all in Yoda-speak. Met they are, the stay factors.

BREAKING: Donald Trump just filed his emergency stay in the DC circuit to keep his name on the Kennedy Center & it is batsh** crazy He clearly wrote big pieces himself We have filed our opposition, fighting for the rule of law & the American people

This Fable thing is ridiculous. Feels vindictive from a jilted regime that already declared Anthropic a "supply chain risk." Will they disable OpenAI and Google's latest models?

A Minnesota federal judge has ordered the state’s top federal prosecutor and ICE officials to appear in his courtroom Tuesday to explain why they should not be held in civil or criminal contempt for what he alleges are repeated court violations.

The more you read about the Trump-OpenAI deal, the worse it stinks. Also, anyone who eagerly chirps out “Department of War” might as well be sporting a red MAGA hat. (Looking at you, Sam.) Declaring Anthropic a supply chain risk is pure vindictiveness and thuggery.

No one should be using ChatGPT or partnering with OpenAI for anything.

what a crazy night for sam altman to be like "yeah we got that dept of war deal, and there's no moral concerns here"

Also, may I say that I don’t agree with people saying ICE and CBP need “more training.” They’re doing exactly what this administration has trained them to—impose a reign of fear in blue cities. They don’t need more training. They need to be ripped up root and branch.

Van Hollen: "They really think the American people are stupid. I mean, we can all see the video. We saw the video with Renee Good. We saw the video with Alex Pretti. The real domestic terrorists are in the White House right now."

This was murder. Pretti did not initiate the confrontation. He didn’t strike them. He didn’t brandish his gun. They tackled him, beat him, disarmed him, and shot him.

Holy crap. This is the most damning video yet. It shows Border Patrol agents clearly taking Alex's firearm, running it away, and THEN executed him in cold blood by emptying a clip into his face. Murder.

And, uh, some personal news: This is also my last column for The Post. I was offered and accepted a buyout. To answer one possible next question, I'm not sure what's next save taking some time off. If you want, you can enter your email at pbump.net and I'll let you know when I figure it out!

For my column today, I wrote about how Trump leveraged America's collapsing trust in institutions — and how his second term has accelerated that collapse. Gift link: wapo.st/3IzN4QA
