maybe i'm simply a bitter smoker but i'm pretty sure people could be a lot meaner about ai, given the 'they want to kill everyone' stuff and i think most of you could simply get over it and enjoy your vices with a far quieter shame like the rest of us rather than acting like surly teens with a vape

i am fully aware of the overwhelming power of brute force but i do think it's worth stepping back and taking a look at where the fist is aimed and who it is heading for rather than tell me about how firm and muscular the hand is and how many things you'd like to see punched for low low prices

I'll be back on full feature development in mid-November, though I will keep an eye on things to make sure things are smooth overall with the updates I just made. My next priorities will be releasing Dojo Lobby for Mac OS (mostly there now) and 4 player lobbies for DC & NAOMI games. Stay tuned!

As a reminder of features introduced this past year: Replay Takeover is available for any Model 3 replay in Supermodel Dojo. Jump in any replay as the player of your choice and play the rest of the match with Training Mode features. You can also host your own relays instead of relying on our own.

My general position is that the EU regulates too much that could either be (a) regulated at a lower level or (b) doesn't have to be regulated at all, BUT sometimes EU regulation is amazing. My favourite example is roaming. It used to cost a gazillion dollars to make a call on holiday, now it's 0

I was lucky enough to illustrate for @jmcelroy.bsky.social's new book and here they are if you'd like to see them!
Amanda did the illustrations for the book and I can’t emphasize enough how lovely they are!

I plan to upload the Digging for Isix parts as separate videos. Given the recent passing of Walter Koenig, I went ahead and started with Maximum Surge. This looks at an abandoned FMV project in which he played the villain. I got access to prototypes and BTS interviews. youtu.be/h7dJ_CFh_e0?...

TLS had basically defanged MitM attacks to the point that no one even bothered. But suddenly there might be a long tail of juicy targets available if you happen to compromise a random coffeeshop wifi router. So people might start doing that!
The eMudhra "don't trust this trusted cert" vulnerability situation added insult to injury: this is actually a time where connecting to random wifi could be a security issue*. Usually this is terrible security advice! * If your OS and all the apps caching their own trusted you certs aren't fixed.

Its forever been the wildest thing being at games conferences -especially the largest ones- and the talk schedule is like - creating sincere art from playful naivete - balancing passion and health - how to dodge parental controls when monetizing toddlers - regrets from my 1st commercial codebase
making games so you can hopefully afford to make more games is literally a different industry from grinding up people so number goes up and it is harmful to pretend otherwise regardless of whether or not we share a platform or a binary format
