The US is no longer safe either to live in or to travel to. Brown shirts are everywhere. This is not hyperbole.
Bone chilling. A court ordered Kilmar Abrego Garcia to stay in the United States. The Supreme Court ruled 9-0 that he was illegally removed. Trump is pretending he won the ruling 9-0. 1/ You may not think this case means anything to you. But let me tell you why it does.

Imagine being this bad at your job and still in it, lol. Check the replies. Hate to break it to ya, but nobody is buying Tesla cars, love. Dump it while you still can.
Cathie Wood’s Ark Investment Management remains bullish on Tesla and expects the stock will hit $2,600 in five years, or almost 10 times its current price

‘Free speech’ latest.
NEW: Voice of America is in upheaval. Journalists are facing HR investigations for comments critical of Trump. One of VOA's highest-profile journalists was put on leave today after a Trump aide called him a traitor. And the White House bureau chief was reassigned. www.nytimes.com/2025/02/28/b...

The Conservatives could use this to skewer Reform and distance themselves from Trump's culture wars, autocracy and foreign policy preference for dicators. I bet they don't. If they don't, Labour can skewer them both.
British politicians who choose the US led by Trump over shared security interests with Europe are making a colossal strategic error, I fear.

What pushback? Twitter/X is dead in terms of discourse. It’s a festering pile of bots, shitewittery & nonsense. Congrats, the bad guys won, now X is a rotting pile of leaves & garbage being blown along by other people’s money. There’s no discussion. Competition is critical to the media vehicle.
I get the pushback to Bluesky in that it further bifurcates our media ecosystem. But at this point, Twitter’s content moderation is so nonexistent and its verified users so extreme that the choice becomes either move away from Twitter or be subjected to straight up 4chan nazi bile on a daily basis.

Without doubt, one of the best London pubs. The irony of this is that it's a quiet little place. I remember a gentle afternoon with a pint, sharing the bar with an old boy in his three piece suit, twisted moustache and pocket watch. The local boozer most normal people would die for as their local
One of the best pubs in London struggling for survival because planning is stacked in favour of some powerful NIMBYs. Everything that’s wrong with Britain.
