Linkedin Hack to gain instantly 50 followers and a storm of connection request? Just post that you are looking for somebody which can build your website with #react and you will be literally STORMED. Not sure you'd like that tho

Would you let an AI agent merge to prod on a Friday? I spent yesterday playing with #Codex and was blown away at how easily it handled the chore tasks. Should I go the extra mile and grant it merge rights after a self-review?

There was a time during the early WWW where you could really hurt automated scanning tools and skiddies. Those who wanted to h4ck your web apps using Paros proxy, SQLmap, Havij (although that was mostly backdoored), all relied on HTTP response codes. HTTP 200 ok HTTP 500

I mean, I’m absolutely terrified to jump back into the JS ecosystem of infinite tools and frameworks, dependency management, fucking node_modules and all that. But it seems really the best choice for both hiring and developer productivity

We can state that the liberal world order has long disappeared — we simply chose not to notice that. Now, it is time to look at things realistically and adapt to the new reality. We do not yet know what the new world order will look like. It is emerging now, out of wars and conflicts⤵️

Officials in Minnesota were searching for the person who shot and killed State Representative Melissa Hortman and her husband, in what Gov. Tim Walz described as a politically motivated attack. The suspect also shot and injured another Democratic lawmaker and his wife. Live updates: nyti.ms/3HGa3cc

Minnesota’s flags will fly at half staff in honor and remembrance of Speaker Emerita Melissa Hortman. She woke up every morning determined to make Minnesota a better place, and she will be greatly missed.

The fact that people turned out in huge numbers to protest in Minnesota even after a right-wing chud assassinated a Democratic member of the legislature is a good example of why we are going to win.

They think a couple of assassinations and a military parade are going to stop you from marching. Those that fuck around shall surely find out.

"Design Patterns for Securing LLM Agents against Prompt Injections" is an excellent new paper that provides six design patterns to help protect LLM tool-using systems (call them "agents" if you like) against prompt injection attacks Here are my notes on the paper simonwillison.net/2025/Jun/13/...

There are 2 important considerations to make here: 1. Stage of maturity of the comanpy 2. GTM Model (ie: B2B, B2C, etc) Early stage companies tends to benefit more from in-office, same goes for B2C and B2SMB in niche industries but for different reasons.

I have not paid a ton of attention to the uproar over RTO policies, bc we are all in on distributed teams and not going back. My impression (via social media) has been that these were shadow layoffs. Last month I asked an investor why they are doing RTO. He said: "Retention, mostly. And morale."

To wrap it up: Execution-heavy B2B SaaS thrives 100 % distributed. Think 37signals, Linear, Tally, etc. A small senior crew, clear user pain and few rituals does wonder at a fraction of the cost. Remote is a competitive edge here. Hard problems, or user centric? You need the same-office vibe.

The other important point is that to solve hard problems or a non-obvious/niche problem the team needs “shared oxygen". Whiteboard spikes, visceral buy-in, even that toxic-family energy (not too much of this one) all this things are non negotiable. A Miro board is not the same.

In other words: Are you joining Airbnb in 2015? Probably you will end up sleeping in the office, which is also an Airbnb somehow. You are joining Airbnb to build an internal tool that helps the support team in 2025? Remote is ok.

The reality is that remote done well is more expensive than in-office. You need management roles sooner and a higher seniority from the get go. If you are still looking for PMF you might not have a bunch of money laying around.

Zelenskyy: "It's not just that the war began somewhere between our countries. The war began when Russia brought this war to our country. They're not right. They didn't respect our territorial integrity. They brought the war to our families. Ukrainians want to hear a position of the US on our side"

Key points and statements from President Zelenskyy's interview to Fox News: ◾️Ukrainians want peace more than anyone. ◾️Ukrainians need peace through strength, with security guarantees, not just a ceasefire that Putin will violate like he already has done with numerous earlier ceasefires.
