Just to be clear... Prop 40 is a ONE-TIME retroactive tax. It applies ONLY to billionaires and would tax just 5% of their wealth — which grew 30% in 2025. California's billionaires would still be worth $2T+ AFTER the tax. The revenue will fund healthcare for millions of Californians. Vote YES.

Then a couple years back, I got all these sudden messages, that they had made her middle name “Gail.” I thought it had to be a coincidence. But I was informed it wasn’t, she was Barbara Gail Gordon in canon, as a lovely tribute to my writing of the character.

Being a parent of a nearly-adult teenager is weird. Like I’m supposed to trust her enough to be independent and make mistakes, now, so that she can function in the real world as an adult. But I’m also still responsible for her safety right now. Anyway, it’s Homecoming night and pouring down rain.

And today he repeats the treasonous comments but includes the BS spin that only the stupidest of people are buying. And then they started saying that he always said that, the first time. And these people believe him. Over and over and over again.

I had to pay an extra $7.14 for something I backed on kickstarter today, due to tariffs. For a thing that does not exist anywhere else (and is not produced in the US). Blanket tariffs aren’t the stupidest thing he’s done, but they sure are stupid.

On behalf of all San Diegans: go fuck yourself, “Mr President”.

Trump says Iran should attack American cities: “Let ‘em take out Los Angeles and San Diego. This is a very small price to pay."

22 California billionaires have spent a combined $150 million to defeat Prop 40. Their combined wealth in January 2025 was $439 BILLION. By September 2026, it had grown to $722 BILLION. They're accidentally making the case for the billionaire tax better than anyone else could.

Step up, billionaires, make a difference. If Batman can do it, so can you.

Saw Weird Al in concert last night - he and his band put on a phenomenal show! I don’t think people appreciate how talented those musicians are to be able to play all those different styles that well. Bonus shout out to guitarist Payton Rose Velligan for being a beacon of pure joy and rock 🤘

Between Apple and Nintendo, I'm going to go bankrupt. Just caught up on their respective events, and there are way too many "must haves"! Apple: - iPhone Duo - new Apple Watch Nintendo: - Switch 2 - Ocarina of Time remake - Kirby and the World Beyond (aka Inhale of the Wild) - Metroid Ravenous

With the opening shot of the Kirby trailer, I said "if this is an open world Kirby, shut up and take my money", and then it was beyond my expectations! Metroid Ravenous looks super cool! I was "meh" about the Ocarina of Time remake until I saw the footage, it looks so good - and new QoL features!

I've been wanting an iPhone/iPad Mini combo for awhile now - and they finally did it with iPhone Duo - I'm not sure how I feel about only a 2x optical zoom, but I'll live. The new Apple Watch feature, to recap the last 15 seconds of conversation, is absolutely a must-have for my poor AuDHD brain!

Intellectually, I know that these kinds of things weren’t all that long ago. But just HOW recently never really clicked in my brain until this post - when I realized that Ruby Bridges is the same age as my parents. We’ve come a long way, but we still have a long way yet to go.

Ruby Bridges was 6-years-old when she stepped into the history books. Bravely accompanied by her mother, she was the first Black child to desegregate an all-white school in the South. It was not long ago… Today is her birthday. She is still with us. She is 72. Happy birthday, Ruby Bridges 💜

In the thumbnail, while scrolling quickly, I was sure I saw Monterey Jack from Rescue Rangers. In the pic, the eyes would be his eyes and/or goggles, and the mouth is his mustache. Even looking at the tinier thumbnail I can still see it.

Bust up big corporations and tackle Wall Street’s greed. Get big money out of politics. Strengthen unions and boost wages. Pass Medicare for all, paid leave, universal childcare, and so much more... This is the agenda Democrats need to fight for. It's not enough to simply be anti-Trump.

Okay, I am going to tell a little story. It's one I have saved for the last couple years, almost nobody knows about it. But it lives in my heart. I don't know how others will feel about it, maybe something, maybe nothing. It's about the Uncanny X-Men. 1/
