I soon start reading out my (real) teenage diary, the entries that coincide with the issue, two weeks at a time. So you track the life of a kid who was gibberingly enthusiastic about Sonic, all the way through from 12 years old to 18, while Chris gets madder and madder at his ridiculous antics

Some of you might not have tried it even though you follow me. Do! We track our lives through the issues of the 1993 UK Sonic comic (which was also a pop culture portal of sorts and lite games mag), we have comics pros and comedians on, and honestly it's just really funny

We thought there should be a definitive podcast about Sonic, chronologically tracking through the 90s and letting you relive (or first-live) a childhood in those days, with all really good editing and music and features and guests and stuff, so we did. It's nearly over: stctp.zone

these are from "101 things to do with your computer" by gillian doherty which I found a copy of on the internet archive. its a book full of projects for kids to do with computers and I'm a big fan of how it has these unconventional approaches to doing things such as using powerpoint for animation

my favourite however? this ridiculously unconventional approach to game design. a lost art here, I want to capture both pages and show you the entire thing
