sharpening a knife until it’s gone

3d printing a log and whittling it down into something else

running my criminal empire so ineffectually that I’m put on the Least Wanted list

downsizing to just one Duran

blaming the RAM shortage for not being able to find any DDR100

Flowers Five Algernon

Dorian Gray vs the beach that makes you old

getting a cheaper watch that only tells you if it’s AM or PM

moving my clothes back and forth between the drying rack and the wetting rack

misleading Pavlov by salivating at the sound of a bell because I like to eat bells

radiating a feeling of calm and warmth and gamma rays

nursing a nurse back to nurse

recording a podcast with my roommates purely so I can edit one of them entirely out of it as a joke

(unmuffles your sounds of gorilla violence)

“Sorry I need to take this” - The Gentleman Thief

I'm firm on the opinion that BLUEJEWELED is one of the strongest videogame poems around today - it's overt maximalism twists and reshapes the original game into a new form that's playful/critical/materially aware, which all feel central to what I value in a poem brandonhare.itch.io/bluejeweled
