I don't know that I buy the "everyone knows" excuse for the collective shrug. That reporter he yelled at seemed sincerely alarmed that he doesn't care about Ramaswamy exploiting a rape victim. Which suggests some folks still harbor the delusion that Trump thinks rape is bad.

Even setting aside the two accusers whose stories are shakier, we have three strong and credible direct accusations. Then we have three more young women who have evidence of Trump participating in Epstein's trafficking ring.

This report has a lot more information than that one less-than-credible accusations against Trump. If people read (I know, it's an impossible ask), you'll see there are three more I would deem extremely well-evidenced and credible.

This report is genuinely overwhelming, in terms of the evidence both against Trump and of a ham-fisted cover-up. Including one instance in which Ghislaine Maxwell was actually about to mention one of Trump's young accusers and Todd Blanche told her to stop talking. The media response is "yawn."

Yeah, both my Nintendo Pro controllers (one wired, one charged) have recessed ports with fitted plugs. One of them even has an old USB-Micro connector instead of a C. I just wish the USB standard would adopt this idea. They have set standard optional screw mount positions, but nobody uses them

Yep, USB-C there are connector quality issues. The newer Nintendo Pro controllers all use a recessed USB-C connector with a mated connector to the recess.  This should be added as an optional feature to the USB-C standard because it is genius to improve the reliability.

We absolutely need to move all connectors to USB-C. Europe is doing so, why can't the rest of the world.

this is a perfectly reasonable list, imo these four are all monumentally awful on trans issues and this is a more than fair place to draw the line, especially given how the elections currently look - three of them are in the house, where dems will romp regardless, and iowa can do better than turek

None of this is to say there's no hope or that you shouldn't vote for Democrats. But merely voting for Democrats is not sufficient to get our rights back, as the OP clearly acknowledges.

They don't want positive change, they want to elect Democrats. And that's not good enough for people who have lost our rights. Bc we actually need our rights back.

But these two things are contradictory. If it's going to be a long fight to get our rights back we better start fighting, right? We better start exerting pressure. But they don't want pressure. Because they don't want positive change, whether quickly or slowly.
