Two days this year i'm not able to administer my systems because i'm on a work trip and they drop those php cves... Oh nevermind, i don't use php

“The internet is a store but it used to be a library” hits me like a slug to the chest

Don't mind me. I'm in the kitchen, cooking some #gleam stuff

Hello #ElixirLang Does anyone look for principal/senior level developer? Either permanent or contract. I have experience in performance optimisations and observability of Elixir and Erlang codebases. CV available at hauleth.dev/cv @sifa.id profile sifa.id/p/hauleth.dev

Account migrated to @eurosky.social ☑️

I‘d love to give @eurosky.social a shot. But having to wait for days and weeks to register an account is a bummer

Somehow i doubt that, podman

error: cannot invoke remote function Access.get/2 inside a guard 💔

ghostty.org finally! 🥳

Hahaha. I was trying to write a Dockerfile manually to build a OCI image from a liveview application with podman when i found out mix phx.gen.release —docker exists and it just works the way i want it. Got to love elixirs tooling.

And yes, i'm very aware about the "get coding" part. But i'm also kind of a book nerd. So i got them all already in my digital shelve.

Now that i finished the Elixir course on pragmatic studio, i'm thinking if i want to deepen my newly acquired #elixirlang and OTP knowledge and read Elixir in Action besides Andrea Leopardis Network programming book or dive into Phoenix Liveview with "Programming Phoenix Liveview"

gen_server, linked processes to self-heal and restart your server processes... How can one not love that? Every day i'm learning something new about #elixirlang / #erlang and my crush get's bigger!

Just solved my first little issue by rebuilding a nerves app and do a firmware update ovber ssh. That whole ecosystem around #elixirlang is so cool and a joy to explore! I should not have waited so long to give it a try.

I just learned about doctests. Wow, how cool's that?! 🤯

I just completed "Mull It Over" - Day 3 - Advent of Code 2024 #AdventOfCode adventofcode.com/2024/day/3 After i achived only one star after hours and hours yesterday, today i was able to solve both puzzles. New confidence in my #elixirlang learning journey 🥳

I just completed "Historian Hysteria" - Day 1 - Advent of Code 2024 #AdventOfCode adventofcode.com/2024/day/1 First time trying to solve something in #elixir

Is anyone aware of a working ssh client for iOS / iPadOS that supports the import of Fido2 / ed25519-sk resident keys from #yubikey / #nitrokey and so on without a subscription model like blink or terminus?

I‘m using #FreeBSD since mid/late 90ies. In the last couple of years i didn‘t follow it because i‘m using linux and containers exclusively at work and focused on that. Now i‘m back and excited to see podman on FBSD is able to run linux containers since 14.0. That‘s awesome! Time to test again 😈

Wonder why i'm following you? I'm trying to create a nice #elixir / #erlang / #phoenix bubble for me here, as i'm hooked and all in to learn and use elixir now
