Recently I listened to podcasts about nvidia and decided to write an article, there is 2 of them magistr.me/blog/reading... - reflection (my text ideas and thoughts, ai edit pass) magistr.me/blog/nvidia-... analysis and mapping (my streering and base, ai analysis and edit)

magistr.meReading the board from the standsI ignored Nvidia for two years. Then two interviews flipped me — on Jensen as the best Wardley strategist alive, and on what I actually wanted while watching him.

Minimal theme - that's what I needed

Charity Majors@charity.wtf

For those who have to use LinkedIn, here are my survival tips: * Install the "Minimal Theme for LinkedIn" (you have to VPN to a non-US country, then search for it, but it scrubs nearly all ads and noise) * Disable notifications. Like, ALL notifications, except for the few you specifically want

Swamp (swamp.club) is our new, open source, AI Automation framework. You tell Claude what you want to automate, and it uses Swamp to build you a repeatable workflow to do it. It extends itself, keeps track of all your data, and is super fun.

Finally migrated to fastly, it took 30m and help of chatgpt, cause their ux is hard, but finally not on cf (that move were in plan since original launch of blog, but )

Made a PR with gemini support, as claude context 32k is too short for that output, and I dont want to pay 200 for better plan

2 I love strategy and wardley mapping so tested that github.com/tractorjuice... thingy, yep it's kinda fro enterprise architecture, but also works for solo/indie and it's already helped me to catch a blocker that I subconsciously had (over engineered ui)

it's a good tool it writes docs and assumptions and you correct them, also it broadens perspective (I forgot to check out some stakeholders). Like always game of questions and answers and in that process you are thinking

Have been tagged in to provide the reminder about traumatic video because of the Charlie Kirk shooting video going around! 1. Settings -> Content & Media, turn off "autoplay video" 2. Keep your device sound off while browsing so an accidental activation won't include the sound

My tube amplifier started to behave and one channel works on half period, bought multimeter and now measuring voltages here and there and resistance and capacitance - under the guidance of chatgpt (as there is no tech friends whi is into tube tech)

How much do you think it costs to make a pair of Nike shoes in Asia? Before you open this thread, take a guess. Settle on a number and then compare it to what you'll learn in this thread. 🧵

Replying to @magistr.me

also great improvement comes from creating specs and tests, with that kind of special prompt (text in alt)

I'm using cline in cursor, and gemini-2.5-pro (it's free for now and has huge 1M context) biggest difference bw claude and gemini you dont need that small changes and corrections it able to apply your request to your codebase, step by step

gemini 2.5 pro is free and adheres better to prompt than claude-3.7, and able to do mundane refactoring, when claude just gave up

You may have noticed that the thread authoring experience on Bluesky isn't the best. You may have further noticed that manually adding alt-text is annoying. Allow me to introduce my liveskeeting client, LastSkeetinAWS.com.

I really miss that in aws, everything should be greased by iam roles, and no you should write them yourself sometimes, sometimes we will generate them for you

Corey Quinn@quinnypig.com

By far the best thing Google Cloud did here is “everything in a project can talk to the rest of the project’s resources” by default. AWS: “Everything must be explicitly configured” which means after the third attempt we say screw it and leave it way too open.
