I can tell I'm understanding soccer better because I'm feeling stressed when everyone on here sounds like they're about to drink bleach.

DRINK IT UP IT'S OUR LAST PAUSA DE HIDRATACIÓN EVER (image: how other broadcasts around the world called the PAUSA DE HIDRATACIÓN)

I'm watching in germany. The German commentators kept quiet for nearly the whole thing until suddenly the shot widened and we just hear with a German accent, "Oh, Miss Piggy"

Not just kids’ content. Governments are out here aspiring to be the UK in CHILDREN OF MEN

Kelcie Moseley-Morris@kelciemmorris.bsky.social

It's such a bizarre experience having kids and regularly watching kids content and recognizing how many behaviors are displayed as villainous that are currently being lifted up as virtue in real life

I saw an Instagram reel where people had installed a movie theatre-type soda machine in their home and they walked you through the cost which was thousands of dollars and the only two sodas it dispensed was Diet Coke and Diet Doctor Pepper so I think their assets should be seized

is your husband a fucking moron with a baby brain who can’t stop himself from clapping like a seal when he sees a touchdown? we have a solution!

This is deeply disingenuous and, frankly, a dereliction of journalistic integrity. A quick glance at Yum! Brand’s annual filings reveal that this is common language included every single year as an investment risk factor. The most recent filing is no different because the risk is always present.

This is on Amtrak for having the Acelas/Airos so delayed and train lengths so short

The newest pin on our destination map is... Philadelphia! Southwest Airlines will begin twice daily nonstops to Philadelphia next March.

Pretty concerning that this is increasingly becoming a tactic of the elite class to go after journalistic outlets by trying to sue them to death

I am once again begging Hollywood to stop using the Greek alphabet for an Ancient World movie, if they can't afford to even throw a couple of quid at anyone with an inkling of the language. Unless they really think audiences are dying to see THS THDPSSSSPS

once the air quality index goes above 500 you start to see entire bricks floating suspended in the air. it’s pretty cool actually, you can climb on them and stuff

I'm sorry, there is just no way to take the discipline of constitutional law seriously if it includes the idea that you can throw out a constitutional amendment from the 1860s and a court case from the 1890s based on your interpretation of English common law from 1215. Complete joke of a profession.

Anthony Michael Kreis@anthonymkreis.bsky.social

Wurman: The English didn’t *demand* assimilation in 1215 but *needed* it for 800 years for liberalism to work. Then, responding to @jdmortenson.bsky.social, Ilan goes ethnonationalist, talking about “importing millions of people [babies]” who are unfit for liberal democracy. How’s that better?
