Artists don't need to be miserable, depressed people to be great. That is a toxic myth. But art does need to be miserable and painful and scary at points to be good. There's no shortcut.

Unfortunately there are people who care about trans people having rights who are not trans people themselves and I’m sure that the number will suddenly grow exponentially post election when candidates have lost and you’re looking for someone to blame that isn’t the candidates themselves

Something my wife pointed out is that Gibney shows several former Musk associates saying “…and then Elon changed” when clearly he’s always been this person. Are there people who approve of him who can see that if it’s all laid out for them?

It was definitely very well done but did not really tell me anything I didn’t already know. And it makes me wonder who is it for? Are the people who *need* to see this going to see it? If they see it, will they do anything other than say “it’s all lies”
