I do cool things with #Elixir and #Linux. #Bassfishing in the warmer months is my jam.

Next year, we will assign one issue to every kid in America. This will be the first of many.

A lot of people don't know but COSMIC gets so much done by utilizing the original AI AuDHD Intelligence

DHH (Deluded and Hyped Human) decided to publish his dick measuring contest results, however some people included their backbone in their results. Apparently it is limp enough.

Hey if you've ever had an idea for a PaaS and don't know how to get started on the ops side, drop me an email. Happy to sign an NDA and help you along. No equity, no fee. I'll give you a two year massdriver.cloud license for your team to get it off the ground. Email me cory@that-domain.

massdriver.cloudMassdriver | Internal Developer Platform and Platform Orchestrator for Terraform, OpenTofu and HelmSelf-service infrastructure for developers and AI agents. Platform engineering teams package the Terraform, OpenTofu, and Helm they already trust, and every deploy is policy-checked before it lands.

Yes brother I'd say it matters and I won't be told otherwise by a dolt who can't remember 5 digits

Ezra Klein asked Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang about AI making kids worse at math and reading. Huang’s reply: “Does it matter?” Then he said he doesn’t know his own address or phone number. “We’re going to lose some fine intellectual dexterity.” www.nytimes.com/2026/09/23/o...

So cool, might have to try it and see if I can handle the movement.

Charge Altman and/or Amodei with violating the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act. Bring the hammer down like we did on poor Aaron Swartz. Then we’ll see if their products continue to “break containment”.

At system76 we had a different vision for the Linux desktop - in particular at the DE level - how to design it, how to develop it. So we built it. That's it. No insults or drama. The year of the Linux desktop is coming. And it will be thanks to the efforts of the entire Linux desktop community.

I have concepts drawn (poorly) for a #logo, besides for Fiverr, are there affordable options to get an artists touch? This will be an Open Source project and might have a hosted offering (idk yet). No AI #artists

It's surprising how much better temperatures are for my HP Dev One laptop now that I switched to a generic #PTM7950 "pad" for the APU. Compiling #erlang no longer thermal throttles the laptop and even synthetic load for over 10 minutes doesn't reach about 92*C. Upgrading the Frame.work 13 is next!

Using Just + Chezmoi + Distrobox on top of Fedora Cosmic Atomic might just be a killer setup for my #elixir/#elixirlang dev requirements. Time will tell, maybe I'll dust the blog off and write about it!

Let's talk about AOC as a young scientist & her award winning research on antioxidants & C. elegans, a standard roundworm model. She grew up in the Bronx. Ethnically Puerto Rican, her dad Sergio, an architect, died when she was 19. Her mother cleaned houses, drove a school bus. Working class.

Legitimate question - what does AI touch that it doesn't end up doing one of the following to: - raising costs (hardware and thus servers) - causing unemployment - adding a whole new style of tech debt to - causing stress to humans on the other end

Has anyone else noticed peers using AI for things that were trivial to do using known algorithms prior to the AI era?

Does anyone else feel like they are morphing into a grey beard type of person? I sure am, especially with peers not even reading stack traces to understand issues and relying fully on AI.
