I’m seeing people reacting by pointing out that he’s obviously wrong. I appreciate that, but it’s also a pointless exercise. The problem isn’t that he’s wrong. The problem is that this is normal in American politics — and it’s been normal for a while.
RFK: "There's five hundred million Arabs in the world. And yet they don't produce science. They don't win the Nobel Prize. They don't win the Fields Prize. They don't win the Wolf Prize. They don't produce literature."

They are not joking. They are serious. At the end of the video, police escort this boy off the field. Humanity is broken. Every single white person should be dropped into the sun. We don't deserve... anything.
They called the cops on this 3-year-old Black boy because he was kickin the white kids' ass on the soccer field.

Guy who lives on a planet that’s had multiple world wars including two we literally just call the World Wars: I don’t understand why people think things happening other places matters. While I’m on the subject, where does mommy go when she puts her hands over her face?
Yes well it does require things like “empathy” and possessing a basic understanding that all of our lives are interconnected

This post in particular is really telling. It's saying - don't expect Democrats to simply right the wrongs. What Republicans take away in 4 years you must expect to spend 20 years to restore, fighting Democrats the whole way.
Actually, positive change is slow, difficult and incremental by nature. Destroying is fast, building is slow. It is easy to bring misery to people - any idiot can do it, as Trump shows - but very hard to improve their conditions. Building a better society is slow, careful, patient work.

This will hopefully explain why a reductive "percentage of parents who are estranged because MAGA" poll would not reflect reality. Most estrangements are about interpersonal conflict, but it's also informed by authoritarian politics. They aren't easy to separate. www.salon.com/2024/12/18/g...

One extremely telling bit of evidence, detailed within, is how parental estrangement forums are private and behind paywalls. They don't want outsiders to know their politics. Also, these sites use right-wing media to advertise. Which shows they know who wants this. www.salon.com/2024/12/18/g...

Haha what a funny joke The person he’s campaigning for is a transphobe who calls trans women biological men, supports limiting children’s healthcare, and previously refused to update birth certificates for trans people

One of the clearest ways liberals communicate they think they're human and you aren't is how they respond to criticism by insisting you don't understand what they're saying. They don't defend their claims, just insist they must be correct because they've made them.

Libs think they are real people who have emotions and can feel pain and the rest of us aren't and don't. It's why they'll smugly state that people suffering and dying are a rounding error to be ignored but then screech when people are mean to them in response. They count, you don't.

This is the MOST anti-trans ad I've seen this cycle and it's not close, and I've seen almost nothing but anti-trans ads this cycle
Josh Turek of Iowa, Democrat, comes out with one of the worst anti-trans ads yet. Not only is it an anti-sports ad, it proposes a ban on federal funding for gender affirming care. That would hit all medicaid and medicare patients, and any ACA federally-subsidized plans as well. Horrific.

Another evil layer to this ad from Josh Turek: When he turns to say "stop the nonsense from both extremes," he opens with a clip of Rep. Becca Balint, the first openly gay woman to represent Vermont in congress and one of the few openly gay members of congress.

Holy shit, it gets worse. A reader tells me that this is from Balint's questioning of Bondi over Epstein survivors. Certainly looks like it would match from this video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=3mmH...

This is where "it's just trans sports bans" leads you, Democrats supporting overtly genocidal policies that would kill tens of thousands of trans people. But at least we'll be marched into the camps by someone in blue, right?
