Heads up: this website also "reviews" publishers, writer-beware-style. Lists big reliable publishers as safe, warns about many known scams, and then... Lists a few scam presses as "safe and reliable". Couched in professional language with buzzwords about transparent contracts and payment schedules.

A joy to return to Coode Street for a conversation about my new novel THE FIST OF MEMORY (out tomorrow in North America!), science and mysticism, action cinema influences, connectedness and more with the super knowledgeable Gary and Jonathan.

New review - sapphic cli-fi mystery, finding a solution, scarily accurate to our times.

Our Infinite and Inevitable Ends, by A.D. Sui (pub by @ecwpress.bsky.social), is an extremely brilliant piece of fiction, a prescient story that invites the reader to think about its themes while following Cass' self-destructive journey in the search of answers. jamreads.com/reviews/our-... 💙📚

regardless of the fact that the site is preying on authors who are hoping for recognition or something to elevate their standing in the publishing community. something to help them reach their dreams, and they're using ME?!?! this goes against everything i stand for. disgusting. be ashamed.

i am sorry, but this kind of thing goes against everything i stand for: - AI - pay to play - predatory behavior - dishonesty i can't decide whether to cry or throw up think i'll do both

my likeness and my author identity being used to legitimize an "Award" that has a $200 entry fee from a completely AI-generated site is disgusting. it makes me want to throw up. regardless of the fact that i never GAVE this interview. i didn't SAY any of these things. (thread ctd)

i am inviting anyone from a legacy media organization to explain to me why the house judiciary dems report on trump’s epstein’s ties and multiple allegations of rape isn’t worthy of extensively reporting on. i’m serious. i want to understand.

i backed it for the Support Your Local Punks t-shirt. love a t-shirt. also backers today got my essay on Narrative Voice in Worldbuilding. a long thing not only on what it is? but how to DO it

Yet more outrageous BS from our tech overlords. And remember, they do this first to authors and artists. Soon they'll be doing this to everyone.

So glad for the news from Brazil and Serbia. Hoping, hoping yet to see the current protests and rising anger in India lead to a similar fate for the Modi/BJP regime.

"I was a dumbass for X, Y, Z reasons. Material reality made me see the error of my ways" is actually incredibly uplifting stuff, especially from a 25 year old with a blue collar job and a HS diploma. He was a teenager during Trump 1
