I’m not a political journalist, so was gladly surprised at the community I found here last night. To Americans anxious about the upcoming elections, a key thing we learned in Brazil that might help you: DO NOT engage with the far-right online. Don’t share rage bait. Amplify your people. Ignore them.

A favorite genre of short form video is people playing KH1 for the first time and discovering who the ???? Coliseum fight is.

My first 5 TTRPGs in the order I played them: 1. D&D 4e 2. Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 3rd Ed. 3. Call of Cthulhu 5th Ed. 4. Shadowrun 4th Ed. 20th Anniversary 5. Deadlands

well, on the one hand AI has made things significantly worse for everyone in almost every capacity that it has touched. But on the other hand, the dumbest guy you know can send emails nobody reads really fast now. So it's impossible to say whether it's good or not

i would easily strike Who out in three pitches and avoid this whole mess

This is getting really bad, just trying to figure out which game came first is like finding a, well, you know.

what exactly DOES happen to materials from a major studio that’s closed? where do physical hard drives, documents, etc go? who maintains all this pointless secrecy? if you know or have stories, get in touch: nathan@aftermath.site, nathangrayson.666 (signal), aftermathdotsite@proton.me (proton mail)

Biddy Blaznable

Wish I had this image on hand when I was explaining to a friend why people didn't like Attack on Titan.

Seeing a lot of people call Biddy Blas a Glup Shitto, but he's only a blorbo right now. He has to show up in a second piece of media with the expectation that you already know who he is. THEN he's a Glup Shitto.

stop wishing society looked like the cartoon you enjoyed when you were eight years old and take stock of what actually fucking exists and what you can reasonably do with it

found an NYC Teamster whose tiktoks are just skate tricks he dedicates to other unions.

i bring this up every time its relevant but remember when cawthon did the extremely bitch move to bring up his barely pregnant wife in his non-apology, making it as if it would be my fault if she miscarried because he is too stupid to know how donation records work

Babe wake up someone just discovered new code in House of Leaves, a 26 year-old book. www.reddit.com/r/houseoflea...

Brain is broken because for a second there I thought Zohran was at That Pool.

Beautiful anime women named Skeb are in your area

Kreia: BORED *spins in the co-pilot chair* are we there yet? Atton: no. Kreia: euughhhggh. do you have games on your- ACK *sits bolt upright as the Exile enters the cockpit* Exile: how much longer to Nar Shadda? Kreia: Such impatience. Do not rush to meet destiny, or you will do so unprepared

I am entirely serious when I say that this should be seen as a moderate position. It specifically and surgically dismantles institutions that did not exist pre-9/11 and assigns their functions much as they were assigned pre-9/11.

LOUIS THEROUX: (shouting at ceiling) Hi Wallace, it's Louis. Are you coming down? V.O.: I'd been told to expect the unexpected when Wallace came down for breakfast. WALLACE: Be there in a minute! Enjoy the show! LOUIS: (to Gromit) Is this normal?

Ok this is the favorite commission for day 2. The prompt was "ghost rider as a mail carrier"

Public Domain Art is the lifeblood of small tabletop rpgs, but it can be a nightmare trying to find the right art and license. This week, I’ve re-uploaded my old list from 2020 (with updates) of public domain websites. That's 500,000+ public domain paintings, photos, maps, and film. Link below 🔗👇

Apropos of recent news, I’ve got a question for y’all… Would you say that Gurren Lagann saved your life? If so for you or anyone you know, please reach out! I’d love to chat. My DMs are open.

We’ve all got to start somewhere, so what was your first manga? Mine was this right here, though I wouldn’t know it for years: The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past adaptation for Nintendo Power, done by none other than Shotaro Ishinomori, creator of Kamen Rider, Cyborg 009, and Kikaider!

just remembered i made this

There is an energy to this pic that compels me to save it everytime I see it.

many of you did not play onimusha so it falls to me to inform you about OL murasaki shikibu
