🐳 🐙 Docker Skills, Part 4 `sbx run claude .` gives an agent a disposable microVM: its own filesystem, network, Docker daemon. docker-sandboxes-lifecycle and -network-credentials teach it to drive that safely, secrets included. lours.me/posts/docker-skills-part-4-sandboxes-core/ #Docker #AI

It's been a year or so since I move my personal email / cal over to iCloud+ with custom domains. It's a very fluid experience if you ask me. I still have GMail (historic, and reliable) and... Outlook 😇 (for public OSS stuff, MS accounts, I mostly delete emails from here once I have reviewed them).

I used to be a Fastmail customer for over a decade. Can't complain, they have been excellent, but my personal email needs ended up being too simple.

I tried to buy a PC laptop for my son for several days. I really wanted to buy another T series Lenovo, but they cannot manage to process payments past the Secure3D step, and the support is horribly incompetent. Bye Lenovo, hello Dell.

I’m going to write a desktop app for my son/classroom. It has to run on windows, but cross platform is better. Going with Electron and some React looks like the easy choice. Any other stack recommendation? Kotlin Compose?

Bugs Rust won't catch: lessons learned from uutils CVEs. No memory corruption, but logic bugs solved with more defensive programming, like TOCTOU that become attack windows in privileged code, or assuming that file paths or text are valid UTF-8. And take Hyrum's law seriously in a rewrite.

Some @github.com productivity tips with @vivaldi.com 1. Pin important issues 2. Pin the notifications center, and set a periodic reload (like 5 minutes) so you don't have to worry again about GitHub not doing basic reload in 2026 3. Stack related issues + pull-request tabs so they are together

Business model of agentic coding: - create "agents" that provide illusion of intelligence using tons of markdown band-aid - market hype of tools replacing smart humans, suggesting spans of engineering / science / businesses are dead - create FOMO so people subscribe - charge tokens, profit.

I'm using the Vivaldi browser for productivity these days. Some of the features like tab periodic reload are a game changer. A good example is the GitHub notifications centers that is not live, doesn't sync deterministically with tabs on issues / PRs: live reload is one of these things. vivaldi.com

The workspaces management is cool as well. Combined with vertical tabs it's quite good. You can have split views and combine horizontal + vertical dividers. I have yet to be sold on tab stacks. Last but not least, the pink theme is soft and clean:
