One day, one feature, day 7: write your Mini Me tools in WASM. Compiled with @tinygo.org , run by #wazero in a #wasm sandbox: only the folders you open, no env vars (so no secrets), no network. A 4B model gets four tools, nothing else. mini-me.org/p/20261028-m... #WASM #LocalModels

Our @devoxx.fr Call For Papers will open on Monday, November 23, and close on Sunday, January 10!

Merci Thierry de mentionner mon interview chez #AgenticCrafters. J’adore aussi ce que tu fais et ce nouveau format News est top.

One day, one feature, day 6: Mini Me speaks MCP. A few lines of YAML and a 4B local model (Qwen3.5) queries Wikipedia, then Context7 to explain how to connect to Redis in Rust from the official docs, not its training corpus. mini-me.org/p/20261027-m... #LocalModels #MCP

J'adore TADx. J'adore me creuser les méninges pour identifier les prochains sujets, prendre du temps pour l'organisation avec @wilda.bsky.social , recevoir des speakers talentueux, vous croiser après la conférence et refaire le monde... Mais... Stop ou encore ?

One day, one feature, day 3: decision models 🧙 A small model fine-tuned to choose, not to write. With d1-3B, a Mini Me decider picks my D&D wizard's spell, with a probability for each; a Go hook passes it to the Dungeon Master. mini-me.org/p/20261024-m... #LocalModels

Agent Skills now lives at the Agentic AI Foundation, next to MCP. 70+ agent platforms support it. One skill for your Spring conventions can work in Claude Code, Copilot and Cursor. https://www.anthropic.com/news/donating-agent-skills-to-the-agentic-ai-foundation

One day, one feature, day 2: tools 🧰 A model only produces text/data. Mini Me runs the tools: bash and the other built-in tools, plus the ones you declare in a few lines of YAML. An explicitly declared tool increases the model's detection success. mini-me.org/p/20261023-m... #LocalModels #sbx

In October 2026, I visited Devoxx Belgium and again it was an awesome event! I learned a lot and received quite some information which I do not want to withhold from you. In this blog, you can find my takeaways of Devoxx Belgium 2026! #java #devoxx mydeveloperplanet.com/2026/10/21/t...

🚨 LiteLLM, a Python package for connecting to AI model providers with 92M+ monthly downloads, has been compromised. Version 1.107.0 ships credential-stealing malware through PyPI wheels and Docker images, targeting cloud credentials, developer secrets, and AI tools.

A train trip, probably no wifi, and I want to learn Ratatui Mini Me v0.8.0 gets a builtin search_docs tool (BM25), so my little Rust teacher (Mellum2-12B-A2.5B) can read local docs, create the project and use rust-analyzer. mini-me.org/p/20261021-m...

Added a guardrail model to Mini Me: IBM's Granite Guardian 3B scores prompts & responses for harm, bias, jailbreaks; fully local. Its system message isn't instructions, it's the risk name to check. mini-me.org/p/20261020-g... #LocalModels #Guardrails

If you thought managing CI/CD pipelines was hard, wait until you open the doors on your software factory.

People complain about #GDPR popups. They miss they point: If a website asks for your consent, it’s because it wants your data. A website that takes nothing has nothing to ask. The popup isn’t the problem. It’s the warning label. We should celebrate and support the sites that take nothing from us.

Can I start learning Rust with a "not too big" local model? Today, no Claude Code: 80% with my 🧠, 20% with 🤖 Mini Me + Mellum2-12B-A2.5B as a teacher: first program, structs, mutability, methods. mini-me.org/p/20261019-m... #Rust #LocalModels

Let's talk a little more about Margaret Hamilton because she deserves it In 1961, Margaret Hamilton was tackling massive systems, having previously wrangled room-sized computers that blared like a foghorn whenever they crashed.

Upgraded to Maven 3.10.0 and an untouched pom.xml now fails? 😅 Duplicate dependency and plugin declarations used to warn. Now they stop the build. 🛑 @timtebeek.github.io's new OpenRewrite recipe fixes them in every repo: buff.ly/iVFhJ5t

This week was crazy at @devoxx.com, my first time both as a speaker and an attendee. I come home with a lot to experiment with and explore, which is a sign that I enjoyed many talks. The discussions were intense and passionate, and this is all I love about communities. 💞

🐳 🐙 Docker Skills, Part 5 An agent that only describes a plan instead of acting is usually missing a tool, not a smarter model: type: shell, type: todo in agent.yaml. docker-agent-config/run/deploy fix that, plus safety and sandboxing. lours.me/posts/docker-skills-part-5-agent/ #Docker #AI
