Doing a little research yesterday, checked in to see how one of my recent articles is doing out there in the world, came across this in a paper uploaded to SSRN. What's up, my bros?

Make sure to share this fun fact with all your most conservative yet hipster family members, and treasure their look of horror as they remember their last avocado toast experience

I saw chaos inside and outside of the ICE detention center Delaney Hall today. Detainees protesting the lack of due process, the disgusting food and poor treatment while their families and advocates stood outside calling for help. 1/4

It's Pentecost Sunday, when the church received the Spirit, counselor and adocate. They had been hunkered down, confused, dismayed, when a new wind broke in and they got fired up. They spilled into the streets with good news unafraid, meeting people across barriers, a light in dark times.....

If you want to win the long-term political battle stop cosplaying as someone you’re not. Stop being ashamed of the things you are. Meet people where they’re at. Be honest. Don’t bs them or yourself.

A proper dream come true, Ernest & Hadley Booksellers has my novella, Haven, on the shelves. This mighty, little bookstore has become a holy place for us in Tuscaloosa. I'm grateful for their friendship. Buy all your books from Ernest & Hadley, and buy mine (signed!) here too! #amwriting

Writing outside on campus overlooking Santa Monica Bay is nice and all, but this ain't bad. It is, however, on the grounds of an old asylum, so we're never not Southern Gothic. #rtr

It’s really that simple: The folks who want more expansive suffrage and to make access to the vote easier are the good guys. The folks who are disenfranchising people and making voting harder are the bad guys.

Kenny Smith@kennysmith.org

Politics can be pretty simple: those trying to make it harder to vote, and trying to disenfranchise people from voting, aren’t to be trusted.

We must understand the racist political rhetoric, the erasure and attacks on Black history, the reinstalling of Confederate names and monuments, all go hand-in-hand as the Court and Congress legitimize the taking of political rights and the end of multiracial democracy itself.

i can't help but think about 10 or 11 years ago when conservatives insisted that obama was uniquely anti-catholic because his administration thought that catholic-led orgs could just fill out a form if they didn't want to cover contraceptives in their health plans for employees.

INBOX: Amid rising tendons between Trump and Pope Leo, the administration has abruptly canceled an $11 million contract with Catholic Charities to shelter and care for migrant children who enter the U.S. alone, ending a relationship dating back to the first arrivals of Cuban exiles in South Florida.

I think the reason AI propagandists are so flustered by the fact that no real writer wants to use their idiotic tools is that they themselves don't enjoy writing. They see it as a boring arduous chore to be avoided, while real writers actually enjoy writing and actually care about the quality of it.
