A few weeks ago, my dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. I won’t lie—it's been incredibly challenging for me and my family. Now, I’m embarking on a journey to answer the questions so many of us face when it comes to providing care for our loved ones. I hope you’ll join me.

We have a broken status quo. To fix it, we must fight corruption in all its forms.

Congratulations to President Lula on his victory. Last night, the people of Brazil voted to uphold their democracy, championing opportunity for their families and economic independence. I hope all respect this democratic outcome.

As parents, we have a responsibility to our children. We juggle a lot, but MediKids means you juggle less.

Healthy communities starts with the work being done at the CDC. We must continue to invest in the care and cures we need to thrive.

When I talk about MediKids, I talk about how healthy kids make healthy adults. And that makes for a healthier, stronger society. This is taking us in the exact opposite direction. Everyone deserves to get the care they need — it will also benefit ALL of us in the long run.

Healthcare is a right.

This is not the meaning of service and, as a career public servant, it's incredibly sad to see.   At the State Department, my job wasn't about politics or serving one political party or President – it was about serving the American people. This move is about serving Trump.
