Why do gasoline driver always judge an EV road trip by how similar of a trip it is to a gas car? With EV, the days of rushing into the gas stall, pumping, running inside to use bathroom while rounding up the kids to leave right away is over. EV stops are calm. You get where you’re going happier.

I don’t know what to say…. This is cost so backwards.

In case you missed it, Trump also signed an executive order today directing the AG to go after state and local climate policies. Potentially bigger deal than coal order, imo… www.whitehouse.gov/presidential...

I’m sorry, but people who voted for Trump are not the only problem… all of you who voted 3rd party, or didn’t vote because you fell for the same propaganda on Harris…. This is also on you… We knew this all would happen if that criminal got in office. This is the real world.

It's not a bad idea to go to the local Walmart or big box retailer and buy lots of consumables now. From toothpaste to soap, anything you can find storage space for, buy before they have to replenish inventory. Even if it's made in the USA , they will jack up the price and blame it on tariffs.

Stopped charger coming home from a work trip…3.5hr drive. A Chevy truck who pulled up the same time to pump gas. I plugged in, walked inside station, used restroom, got a drink and a slice of pizza. I then unplugged and left. The truck was still filling up, and the dude had not even been inside yet.

This should concern Americans. Especially those who seemed so worried about freedom.

The decision regarding Energy Transfer v Greenpeace about the activism against the Dakota Access Pipeline is out. Not only will the decision likely bankrupt Greenpeace US, but it will set a precedent that could limit free speech by climate groups & other NGOs. www.washingtonpost.com/climate-envi...

Wow, this seems like something the USDA Inspector General should be reporting on...oh

Thousands of US Department of Agriculture employees, including food inspectors and disease-sniffing dog trainers, remain out of work, leaving food to rot in ports and pests to proliferate.

Shaking my head… I also saw this one coming over a decade ago while reading all the climate denial from mostly the congressman at the time Lamar Smith from Texas on the Science committee as he would push denial after denial on the government commenter twitter page.

A few years ago a climate science colleague of mine said "When it gets really bad, they will blame us for not telling them how bad it would be." Today - Alan Kohler made that prophecy come true in one of the most shameful examples of gaslighting I've ever seen. www.abc.net.au/news/2025-03...

Senator Mark Kelly is a veteran, and flew combat missions for the navy, and piloted space shuttles. His wife was shot for holding public office. I dare Musk accuse him of being a traitor to his face.

The co-president says speaking against Putin’s interests is akin to treason. So I guess that’s where we are now.

It's not real. It's not us. It's not bad. It's too hard to fix. It's too late. Just about every climate denial argument I've ever heard is a variant of one of these five categories, and each one is as bad as the next. Why? Because they all have the same goal: prevent action as long as possible.

Protests against Tesla stores is 100% fair game, really sends a message, & probably hurts sales. But attacking people's private vehicles - *most of whom are leftists who dislike Elon* - is counterproductive. And smashing *non-Tesla EVs*, what the heck is wrong with you?

Sam Albuquerque@officialabq.bsky.social

Someone vandalised a Polestar in protest against Elon Musk. This is why attack against the cars is moronic. www.wsfp.co.uk/news/man-sma...

It hurts to realize I probably did more to get Trump elected this time just by buying, owning 2 Teslas, owning large amounts of stock over the last several years, and supporting Elon in his “mission” for creating sustainable transport than the majority of Trump supporters.

Love this… the build up was 🔥

$1.38 billion spent on NWS. $102.1 billion returned in estimated public value. Those values produce a return on investment (ROI) of 73.98. Full report (135 pages): doi.org/10.1175/cofu... (Yet NOAA has long been **underfunded** as Scott Rayder noted last year: www.federaltimes.com/opinions/202...)

federaltimes.comNOAA’s budget is too small. That’s costing the US billions of dollarsOpinion: With a fiscal year 2024 budget of $6.3 billion, the nation’s leading weather and climate agency remains significantly underfunded.

Imagine posting this on X and not understanding all of the heroic servicemen and women, their families, and the ones who lost their loved ones fighting this piece of shit who deserves all hate towards him.

I don’t know what to say…. But pay attention everyone, and talk about it as much as you can. Everything we do, can make some difference.
