Are people actually doing this??? I've received plenty of early Xbox codes over the years and I've only ever had to do anything like this once for some weird preview build. Occasionally you get a "tell us your gamertag" but even that's rare and typically only for games with always-on servers.

Going to guess all those Phantom Blade Zero reviews are from the PC version. It runs somewhere between "not great" and "I can't believe they were allowed to ship this" on a PS5 Pro, depending on if you're set to graphics or performance or raytracing on or off.

The number of "lol look at this crazy balloon you can use to escape" videos I'm seeing about Call of Duty's DMZ mode tells me that we're living in a world where people no longer know or care about Metal Gear and I'm just not sure how I feel about that.

My son's watched the trailer for the new Goat Simulator 3 DLC like five times, he's preeeeetty excited about it.

The Steam update to allow for multiple achievement sets per game has fixed the situation where most of my rarest achievements were Call of Duty campaign achievements. Now it's back to a lot of Marvel Heroes, Pinball Arcade, and Divekick.

Power finally came back on. I'd be more, I don't know, indignant about it, but they originally said we wouldn't be back on until 11PM tomorrow night. I'll take it.

I feel like the situation here, where they shut off the power for a couple of days whenever it’s hot, dry, and windy, is one they could probably solve in a more modern way if they actually wanted to update any of the infrastructure.

Probably no stream today, the power has been out since 5am. Depending on how you read the map it’ll either be out until it’s fixed or it’ll be out until tomorrow night, when the fire danger has lessened.

Entirely too late for me to be swapping out desks but I’ve gone too far and now I gotta finish it all tonight so I can stream n64 games tomorrow.
