The Price stuff I’ve seen so far has such a weird pace to it, like they just want to tie up a bunch of loose ends so they can get on with the story.

Yeah, it certainly feels like whatever long term ideas they had from MW2019 just went off the rails somewhere along the way. I'm sure the MWIII campaign getting only 14 months of development made that worse for them.

Remember when the franchise jumped the shark in MW2? (Specifically in the Cliffhanger mission). That was 17 years ago and they have not stopped jumping sharks. In fact, jumping sharks became their milieu.

Feels like they made half the campaign out of No Russian and the other half out of... well, I don't know, but there's a level in here that might have the silliest playable character they've ever done.
