Lets not forget notifications on apple devices suck because good ones would allow using apps less and get things done faster, users spending less time in apps and apple selling less apps on app store.

If you did not live through blackberry, windows phone and webos its hard to imagine how much better things could be.

Either I'm a genius or I finally got AI psychosis today. Stay tuned to find out which one it is...

If you are a #vegetarian in #korea this is pretty much the only thing you can eat in most places. I gave up even checking ingredients.

everybody is talking about building platforms for agent to agent social experiences but there should also attention on creating conditions for monumentally spontaneous physically present human behavioral endeavours we need more municipal improvisational noise orchestras

We’ve been awarded a $300K non-dilutive grant, and I’m insanely proud of our team for pulling this off. More to come soon!

We’re proud to be an anchor project in the @mozilla.org Foundation Human-Scale Al Incubator. We’ll be doing this alongside a cohort of builders making purpose-built tech sized to the problems it’s meant to solve. Seven more spots are open now with up to $500k over two years in non-dilutive funding.

Big milestone for Xe Computer! We have vscode and self hosting of the browser UI in itself working again after the rewrite to smol microvms!

I can't overstate how important web of trust networks, most likely based on #ATproto, will become in the world of agentic slop. The only signals we wil be able to somewhat trust is the people we know. No anonymous platform will be able to compete when anyone can fake products and ratings.

Xenon computer is getting a terminal too! Most of you know that i hate terminals with all my heart and wanting a web app platform that can run all my software was one of the driving forces for me. But with legacy lagging behind by years and many of our users really loving terminals,

syntax highlighting and auto complete, but you can always hide it and use the native stdin at any time. All sessions are persistent by default with integrated dtach, so you can close the terminal ui at any point without losing anything.

There is a clientside dotfile loader so you can have your dotfile collection with the terminal setup you like without needing to set it up on on every system. let me know what you think!

i tried to combine what i like about warp term before its ai psychosis, with the workflows users want support for. There is a universal input bar with cross terminal command history and command pinning as well as native OS caret behaviour,

There is one windows vista feature that was never replicated and gradually lost. It originated in UI research from the failed WinFS. Explorer had a unified, holistic "stack, group, filter, sort" bar.

Xenon computer will get a file browser! Most gen Z have the gut reaction of "who needs files in 2026" but with software cost falling this fast we can afford to have a great file browser even if it is just used for downloads, debugging, managing backups, screenshots and projects.

Arc Browser had a horrible implementation but its high level UX and information architecture is still unparalleled. What zen people and even most arc fans do not get is that the one key innovation arc brought was

completely decoupling "spaces" from window instances and virtual tabs from webview instances. This one shift in philosophy led to many downstream behaviours and consistencies that is just not possible in zen or a bolted on vertical tab bar.

i think i kept seeing people say "monorepos are good for agents" but we just switched to multi repos. i have a hard time caring about the benefits of monorepos anymore

The AI hackopalypse is a big opportunity for #localFirst software. Software running in sandboxes on your machine that is not exposed to the internet is much harder to attack.

Wow, I don’t want to spoil anything from You can see everything, and I honestly don’t think I could if I tried. So I’ll just say damn, that was a movie. Go see it.

a weird inversion with LLMs is the models improve faster than the tinkerers when i see people with custom workflows and setups they're all addressing problems that don't exist anymore the person naively using vanilla codex is more likely to be experiencing state of the art

OpenCode does not spawn one process per session which is a bit different than most agents it is a single process so even if you have many sessions running they don't need to duplicate resources like your MCP servers
