When trans creators are subtle, people dismiss the trans subtext as “headcanon.” When trans creators are loud and proud, people call it “obnoxious” and “cringe.” They just don’t want us to be represented in media at all. Because they don’t want us to exist at all.

are pointless and there’s nothing much added to the left and right sides of the screen. they also removed some visual effects and generally modernised the animation to be more in line with the modern seasons which means its cleaner and there’s less animation errors. this is why i’m glad the DVDs use

also fsr they used the 2001 endcard for all of them despite newer episodes being made past this era which is a weird plaster choice i genuinely don’t think this has happened before

one benefit of buying physical media is that you (most of the time) get to see tv episodes as they originally aired. one gripe i have about the modern releases of earlier south park episodes on streaming is that they were remastered to HD. this sounds cool, until you realise that most of the changes

the original prints from the 2000s for all of the pre-HD seasons meaning they are unaltered and even have old comedy central promos from back in the day which i find cool. i had been worrying about the bundle releases for a while but i recently discovered this about them so i might pick one up.
