I migrated my dev account @scumb.ag (did:plc:dkh4rwafdcda4ko7lewe43ml) from Bluesky to the new Streamplace VLPDS instance (streamplace.com) and the Bluesky AppView says the account is deactivated? Anyone ever had to diagnose this? I want to migrate this account but now I'm nervous

Is anyone already doing a thing that makes did:keys from a seed phrase using a BIP39 derivation? If so what's the derivation path you use? Speak now or me or the ATProto did:key derivation path will forever be m/231'/0'/0'/0/0, me and @iame.li just decided

Oh. The PHP thing is trying to do thread cancellation on OOM through longjmp. You never do thread cancellation, certainly not through longjmp, and especially not on OOM

The details are now public, as of two hours ago. bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi... The secret P-384 keys for these intermediate CAs are all zeros except the last 8 bits. All not-updated software can be MITM'ed now. IOT boxes that can't or don't update are now trivially MITM'able forever.

not surprising tbh, I once found found an ethereum wallet by starting at 0 and counting up on the BIP-39 list i was excited to hear about the crazy heist to extract the hardware keys or whatever. turns out you just needed a bunch of zeros
