I never played UO myself, as the local internet in rural Australia was too terrible at the time. So instead I got into the MUD / MOO / MUSH scene, which was still going strong in the late 90s. Was interested in learning that they hired people with a MUD designer background when starting UO.

Here’s the #Meshcore #ThinkNodeM5 acting as a repeater with a higher-gain antenna and 3D printed weather proof box - I have LOS to at least 5 repeaters now. It’s sitting on a 1/4 wave 6M antenna I haven’t been using since the yagi does all the work on 6M.

i went for a cipher approach instead of mapping ascii to octal digits, with two characters you have 81 combinations you could potentially use
