Hey everyone, just wanted to say I was a little misinformed, I'm sorry. This only applies to servers that are large in scale and are discoverable / public. My bad. I'm still not the biggest fan of this feature, but it's not as bad as I anticipated when I first saw it.

I'm begging my American friends to resist your urge to "get the last word" and chase rage bait for clout and just STOP reposting alt-right bullshit

todays labor of love: i drafted up an SSX Tricky beginner guide that finally put to paper a lot of word of mouth knowledge and should hopefully serve as a nice starter guide for anyone looking to play Tricky, casually, for races, or for high scores! docs.google.com/document/d/1...

This is where "it's just trans sports bans" leads you, Democrats supporting overtly genocidal policies that would kill tens of thousands of trans people. But at least we'll be marched into the camps by someone in blue, right?

im shigeru miyamoto. welcome to my resort, which is now managed by a faceless corporation. you will break your wrists with my shoddy motion controls or i will come over there and break them myself. then you will have no choice but to watch the mario galaxy movie for entertainment.

i never like doing this but i have 2 job interviews lined up i just need help covering bills and food this week and i am probably good. i'm almost out of hell i just need a little more help. thanks ko-fi.com/lauriedbunny...

they gentrified wuhu island...

Absolutely brutal game it took me 9 attempts to finish a run and it can easily be ~30 sec faster but glad to have anything done www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKb9...

"Accidently" is so funny but hey, yelling works

Just an FYI on the bluesky profile links thing: They started just blocking onlyfans and fansly, then expanded to cover a bunch of link shorteners explicitly because adult content is linked to through them. Fuck you @bsky.app . Proof: github.com/bluesky-soci...

much better. in an ideal world we would pivot away from corporate-owned platforms, but this terms of use update at least makes me comfortable using src again until a better alternative exists

** Be careful, streamer friends ** I've got no copyright claims at all in my dashboard so this is 100% a phishing attempt/scam.

it cannot actually be ignored or danced around that the closure of BioWare came so soon after the Saudi and Jared Kushner acquisition of EA. they absolutely did take the studio making EA’s broadly queerest games out back and shoot it old yeller style. do not let yourself or colleagues ignore that

eBay users! Don't ignore today's email, even though it looks like a boring standard update to the User Privacy Notice. They want to use your data to train AI models. If you click the link over the words "the right to object", it takes you to a page with a toggle button letting you opt out.

Maybe this is more sharable, but here's AgenticAlert. Alerts you if the repo/project uses genAI. Great if you: * Are tired of everyone hyping slop projects * Are tired of genAI in your #recomp / #decomp scene * Are #noAI * Use a browser Protect yourself against AI slop garbage today.

In about 30 minutes I will be live on @gamesdonequick.com Hotfix, running the Metroid Prime 2: Better Echoes mod for @helix.midwestspeedfest.com's show, Parallel Universe! twitch.tv/gamesdonequick

I think I'll just point to this in future if my stance on GenAI usage is questioned. This is regarding the latest "random dumbfuck posts Claude recomp in a community space" I had to endure live, and how I was not charitable in my direct responses to them.

Absolutely repugnant behavior.

i got hired at a zumiez a few years ago; after like a month of dragging their heels they tried to schedule me on the one day i told them i was unavailable, said they'd fix it when i pointed it out, then ghosted me lol that zumiez is now closed.

Confiscating the passport of the elected representative of the opposition territory in a raid with a flimsy pretext to attempt to strip them of citizenship is something we have words for when it happens in other countries

An explanation on why Big Walk isn't available on Xbox. bigwalk.game/xbox

worth also noting that both the murders of Renee Good and Alex Pretti happened in her district, and on top of the obviously racist targeting of her personally this is also an attempt to deny the people of Minneapolis their democratically elected representative

Deleted our saved payment info from the Epic Games Store. If y’all don’t want your credit card number stolen because “programming is hard,” we suggest you do the same

I think a lot of folks missed this so I'm resharing it. It's my first time trying a recorded voiceover on this channel (as opposed to live commentary), so give it a watch and learn about an underrated SMB2 speedrun category!

I made a video explaining my recent Super Monkey Ball 2 speedrun world record in Story Mode 999 Bananas Glitched! youtu.be/f1t-1HXngXI

fun fact: in 1992, berkley replaced columbus day with Indigenous Peoples day. then no other city or state did until 2014,when i was a policy aide for Alondra Cano and some friends and i convinced her to pass the resolution in Minneapolis. i got to write it and plan the celebration.
