I was going to share Marie Haynes' post today, but there are others as well. I wrote a post a while ago explaining that AI Search was sending less than 1% of traffic to most sites (and most were under .5%). That number has not really increased since then. Marie dug in and provided more info.

AI's constant bootlicking got to be a real challenge to me using it. I did try something that works for those that open brown-nosing brings nothing but derision: Treat your AI like you are in a sitcom. Sycophantry turns to laugh-track appropriate dad jokes. This is how I begin a new "chat."

Maybe I curate my friends the same way: I tend to try to avoid assholes and nazis. It isn't about being in a bubble, it's about finding tribe that doesn't make you roll your eyes every other sentence.
