Great night last night at Spooky Stories at Gang Gang cafe with MC Ben O'Mara, writers Chelsea Fritzlaff, S.R. Underschultz, poet Imogen Wall, John Lombard and guitarist Connor Whyte! Love the cover of Lost Souls 04, can't wait to read 👀 📚 👻 🖤

After careful consideration we've decided to stop advertising on Facebook and Instagram (and, by extension, Threads). Ads on Meta platforms were a big source of traffic for our Editor Picks and Community stories as well as new artist signups, but it's been difficult to square giving cash to these

platforms when we're not aligned with them on so many other issues. We'll keep posting on these platforms because we want to get the art out there but will continue to look for other promotional opportunities in spaces that rely less on AI's ubiquity and expansion.

Pleased and downright fascinated to read a review of my short story "Take Him" in Brief Ecology. The story was recently an editor's pick on @gavagai.com & I'll confess it was very difficult to place & rejected many times, which makes the interest and attention of the reviewer especially lovely.
