As of a few minutes ago, version 1.8 of Skyscraper Social is now available on the App Store. That’s right, it’s no longer Skyscraper for Bluesky. The app is now Skyscraper Social. For good reason. Version 1.8 adds Mastodon support with full unified timeline for all of your accounts!

apps.apple.comSkyscraper SocialSkyscraper is the Bluesky and Mastodon client that feels like it belongs on your device. Awful news 😔

Bo Moore@usebomswisely.bsky.social

My team had a huge content day today on IGN, covering the launch of Valve's Steam Frame. So this seems like a good time as any to say that I was affected by today's layoffs.

Quite sincerely: if AI makes your software worse, you are very, very, very bad at using the modern tools. Incredibly bad.

"So in summary: using AI for coding led to depression, apathy, existential dread, and worse software. Not good. Add on top of that the negative environmental, community, and economic impacts of AI, and it became extremely apparent to me that something's gotta change." brettcodes.com/im-done-usin...

It's amazing the features you could build on the atprotocol

Boris@bmann.ca

This is the low level protocol hack I was teasing! 🤯🤯🤯 @scottlanoue.com is the developer of @comail.at - email trust with atproto accounts. Now he has “login with atmosphere” supported as native accounts on GrapheneOS, with forked & patched native apps @bsky.app @blackskyweb.xyz @stream.place

I’m convinced that a large % of programmers don’t actually like computers. As a side effect, are also perfectly happy to throw away their reasoning to a model as soon as they can. I don’t get it, at ALL.
