I’ve really fallen off being a Browns fan the past few years - really since the Mayfield trade. How they decided to make Watson the starter is mind-boggling. I’m sure there is probably something to the rumors it was driven by ownership/the front office. Simply embarrassing.

Just got done with both demos for Another Eden Begins before Final Fantasy Resonance. I’m still excited for Another Eden, but FF Resonance is another level for me. Both demos were quite generous in the content given, but still sad I already burned through that for FF.

As an huge Scrubs fan, watching the new season was nothing short than an absolute pleasure! If you were also a fan of the original run of the show, and are looking for some nostalgic bliss, do yourself a favor and give it a watch.

Pretty happy Bravely Default Flying Fairy came to steam - playing it on my deck and enjoying it a ton. Also decided I’m going to give Chrono Trigger another playthrough this year. Going to give it til summer for SE to announce a remake first - if nothing announced, I’ll play the existing version

Also hoping for Persona 4 Revival this year. Picked up Golden last year, played about 4 hours, knew I would love it but there were rumors swirling of the remake so decided to put it down and wait for that…

Some great demos have released lately and now I’m more excited for People of Note and the Eternal Life of Goldman. Still need to try out Spark Ignites. There’s a ton of major titles releasing this year, many of which don’t really appeal to me, so I’m excited for many of these smaller titles!

Life is stressful. And nowadays even younger people are more stressed out than the generation before. We NEED an outlet for fun, and playing video games has been one of our best. But let Rob White talk about his own experiences. 📗 Full Feature: www.rpgfan.com/feature/comf...

Rep. Delia Ramirez to DHS officials: "I have as much respect for you as I do for the last white men who put on masks to terrorize communities of color. I have no respect for the inheritors of the Klanhood and the slave patrol. Those activities were criminal and so are yours."

Goldman to Lyons: "You said in your opening statement that references to ICE as 'the Gestapo' or 'secret police' encourages threats against ICE agents. The problem is you have it backwards. People are simply making valid observations about your tactics, which are un-American and outright fascist."

Lotta fat old guys telling Olympic athletes that they should be sent home. No one is stopping you from getting off your couches and training to take their spots. Until then, enjoy watching them exercise their free speech rights. Go team USA.

kind of funny that an olympian said they are here to represent "compassion, respect, and love for others" and some people automatically knew that was a statement against them

Was really excited about Lost Soul Aside prior to release. Was bummed out about the negative reviews and poor steam deck quality (the only place I could play it). Didn’t realize they patched it and got it SD verified late 2025. Decided to finally pick it up and am very glad I did.

Just goes to show that you need to tune out all the noise and go with your gut! The over reliance on reviews and scores is a truly toxic aspect of the video game industry. I’m not saying they’re not of value, and there’s some great, unbiased journalists, but too many reviews are biased nonsense.

For anyone wondering who to cheer for in the Super Bowl… only one of the teams has an owner who is buddies with pedophiles and rapists, and supports this embarrassing administration’s appalling policies. So, yeah, easy fucking choice.

Currently battling the existential crisis of debating disconnecting from everything to protect my remaining sanity and happiness, and keeping up with things so I remain informed on just how absolutely fucked everything is.

Can’t decide which game to start next. My backlog is stacked but nothing feels appealing, and that also goes for new releases in the next week or so. Might start a replay of FF7 Remake. Anyone have any other suggestions for tight, linear RPGs in the 20ish hr range?

Romeo is a Dead Man is my next planned purchase, though admittedly a far different game than I usually play. Was debating picking up Escape From Ever After. It’s getting good reviews but I just thought the demo gameplay was a little unbalanced and had poor combat timing windows.

Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.

FOX: Where’s the protest against the regime that's killing people in the street right now? Trent: They are doing those today. It’s called the ICE protests FOX: Are they talking about Iran at the ICE protests? Trent: No, I think they are talking about the regime that is shooting people in the face

Been playing Quartet for a bit now. I’m enjoying it but happy to finally be past what I feel is an overly extended prologue. For anyone that played and liked Quartet, I really implore you to check out Kingdoms of the Dump. Great story, humorous, and the combat is engaging! Two great indie games!

I think the Greenland threat is a troll. I think. But it would sure be nice for some senators and GOP house members to speak up now and make it clear that an attack on a nato ally would lead to removal from office

Just woke up even angrier. Impeach, convict, remove. Draft articles now. Either we have a representative government or we don’t. Do not shut up about this until there’s a vote.

So fmr Honduran President Hernandez voluntarily surrendered, and was duly extradited, tried and convicted for drug trafficking, and Trump pardoned him 6w ago. And this morning, Trump illegally attacks Venezuela and abducts its president and his wife purportedly to try them for drug trafficking.

If Trump launched this war into Venezuela without congressional approval, which is likely & appears to be the case, they better have the fortitude to do their job for once and have this lead to impeachment and removal What’s more likely is every GOP doing verbal gymnastics to justify this absurdity

I’m generally anti-New Years Resolutions - I feel like self betterment can/should happen more organically. However I did start on a new goal this week I’d like to become “conversationally fluent” in Japanese by my 40th birthday, which gives me just over 2 years Anyone else setting any new goals?
