There are countless websites that generate color palettes, but I needed a reusable package for my own apps. So I built dittoTones. 🟣 It mimics the perceptual DNA (Lightness/Chroma curves) of popular systems and blends them with your target hue → meodai.github.io/dittoTones/

Alright here's the most recent ones the first one I used refrence from Eva from the Danagnronpa fangame Eden's Garden. I changed a good bit but it helped me breakthrough I think with eyes. So far in really liking Edens garden I'm halfway though ch 1 of a let's play

I did make on today too but I'm gonna post it in the morning, admittedly not a good one but I wanted to make sure I at least did something

End of day 8 of learning 2D art. Today I didn't have much time and just did a basic sketch, I feel pretty good about doing my first non human charcter (Power doesn't count). It's a Hive Soilder charcter from #Kenshi.

Last one for the night. This ome I sped ran moresk. I think I know where I am though. Like 4-5 years ago when I tried out 2D art (only paper) for about 2-3 months I got to around this look but after a bunch of practice got past it. It's odd reaching the same awkward benchmark though. How interesting

This is the second one I was falling about, it's all from memeory so no refrence. I wanted to make a Peridot from Steven Universe like feeling which is why I did that mouth but I think my skill isn't developed enough to do simpler looks and have it work well. But hey first full free draw (I think)

Of course that progress is all front on pretty much for perspective, but I think its good to get a feel for one thing before moving on. No point in mindlessly copying a thousand diffrent styles that I can't even do. I'd like thoese thousand one day, but for now reaching for a fraction of 1 is enough

Day 6 of doing art every day ti learn with very minimal experience and none digitally. Today I've made 2 so far, both are original and aren't copies of others though this pic I used refrence for a basic "anime head" and the next I didn't. I feel like I am making really good progress

End of day 5. Decided to try a more cartoony charcter instead of anime and I feel better about this, I ended up not having time towards the end for Shading but for the lines I felt better and understanding the shape and hoe to do it. I used a picture of Dementia from Villanious as my refrence

Alright day 5 of 2D art every day from mostly scratch. This started with Llouche (code geass refrence) and then I just said "nah imma do my own thing" and ended up with what looks like Sanji's 5th sibling they figured wasn't worth showing. I know this one is gonna be really cringe later. That's okay

Alright last one for the day, I drew Brain Unglaus from Overlord. Haven't watched that show in a while but for some reason wanted to try drawing him. End of day 4 of drawing

Day 4 of drawing every day, Both this and the last one (both day 4 and I didn't put anything before that) are inspired by or straight up charcters from Frieren. I liked messing around with the Shading here, first time doing that and getting a feel for how it works, im using refrence but not tracing

I've never been good at 2D art but wanna give it a try again after like 4 years. This is also my first time with digital art. Obviously it's rough. But I look forward to when I can look back on this and cringe and think "why did I post that" Anyway this is my 4th day trying, wish me luck

Like I wanna help Godot or Blender as both are really cool and I know them well, not a bad thing to start with. But they both are mainly C++ which isn't my specialty and I'm already trying to focus on web dev atm

I wanna start helping with open source stuff but my programming languages don't match the projects I wanna help
