I addressed Nithya Raman today at the LA City Council. While campaigning for mayor, she’s touted the fact that she helped craft LA’s Sanctuary City policies, claiming LA doesn’t collaborate with ICE. But… the LAPD admits they DO help, just not with apprehensions. …Is that what she intended?

The LAPD is working with ICE & lying about it. After ICE throws our neighbors into cages in the B18 concentration camp in the Metro Detention Center, LAPD brutalizes protestors at the gate, but bc they’re just “guarding” the camp, they don’t report it Excellent reporting by @ericanders.bsky.social
