The carbon fibre is a nice touch, but unlike all of my cars in the game, this racing livery doesn't have a single anime girl on it for some reason

The Pope reminds me of a version of Catholicism I knew growing up as a young man attending anti-war and anti-death penalty protests, where I met elderly Catholics who shared their version of faith with me. I learned that Catholicism was about love and mercy for the weak, the condemned, and the poor.

Pope Leo XIV celebrated Mass with an estimated 800,000 people in Paris on Saturday, after spending the morning with migrants, the poor, and adults newly entering the Catholic Church. “For Christians,” he added, “the poor are not a sociological category, but the very ‘flesh’ of Christ.”

Today, I decided to dump all my thoughts about A.I. infecting the retro and Saturn scene into one cohesive article. In short, I am certifiably sick of this.

SEGA SATURN, SHIRO!@segasaturnshiro.bsky.social

Is there any harm in using AI to work on — or entirely create — projects for the Sega Saturn and elsewhere in the retro gaming scene? Yes, PandaMonium says in this opinion column, equating such work to digital asbestos: www.segasaturnshiro.com/2026/09/24/c... #sega #saturn #segasaturn #retrogaming

yeah, this stuff is far from my area of expertise, but i have yet to see anyone convincingly explain how the causal chain is supposed to operate here. it feels like the "AI will kill us all people" spent too much time watching Terminator 2 and the Animatrix.

Just hit 100,000 subscribers on YouTube... and I'm genuinely lost for words! 🎉 ... So big thanks goes out to all that have watched, commented and shared, and to the retro community as a whole. As without this support we wouldn't have made it here! So excited for what's still to come.🙏

If you dig up the old issues of my high school paper you’d find a column from me published that Friday about how the “heartwarming moment of national unity” was obscuring the need to ask why law, intelligence, and transportation security agencies had all failed so catastrophically.
