i've never been in a situation where everything is fine and fun then in an instant it's suddenly very much not. i can't even imagine what that must feel like. i suppose just shock? maybe it's not something the mind can process until after, assuming you make it

some of my favourite random obscure creatures in mtg are the gnarrs. they're kinda like dinosauroid reptile/ungulate hybrids. the cards are pretty unremarkable commons but Daren Bader brought them to life fantastically with his art!

There were a couple more modern callbacks to them over the years, and they're neat but they're a little less impressive to me in terms of style and class. can't beat the feel of those original paintings...

i got to play a game of magic at the ponyplay meet again, it was a lot of fun. played my Quandrix deck that i built like 3 months ago but hadn't had a chance to play yet. reminded myself how fun but also how involved cascade is... at least this one isn't completely broken like Imoti was

A day late, but this is one of the first images taken of Earth from space. Ever. It was acquired from an altitude of 105 km (five times higher than the previous record) eighty years ago, on 24 October 1946, with a 35 mm camera mounted on a V-2 rocket launched from the White Sands Missile Range.

randomly thinking about my radstag OC again and how fun and interesting their pronouns are. like... alternating between she/her and plural they/them. there's something neat about that and i like that both work. one shared body with two brains; two minds, with different personalities. it's so fun...

I'm still not totally used to the 3 key control scheme of this game, i even exited by accident and had to redo the cat fight because i mashed keys in the menu (mashing keys randomly is the only way i can play when i can't use a mouse) but thankfully it was an easy redo That aside, lovely game so far

oof, not being able to remap Small Saga's really weird keyboard controls properly is going to take some getting used to. at least it seems there are only like 6 or 7 controls so once i stop reflexively hitting enter to try doing things (since it doesn't let me map that key) maybe it'll be fine
