In today's sharing is caring post we look at the importance of localisation this time for our Currency app play.google.com/store/apps/d... . 4 new tests to see how the default English screenshots compare to the localised versions for Philippines, Brazil, Japan and India (Hindi).

Just about to head to lunch and made the mistake of starting a WhatsApp conversation about AI model traceability. I’m building small traceability markers into my tools, like davidiwanow.com/tools/brand-..., to catch model drift and edge cases faster, add transparency, and improve the output.

It turns out that Google Posts might actually be our company's #1 social channel. I recently looked at the views Whitespark’s Google Posts are getting, and I was pretty surprised.

❗❗❗Mark Zuckerberg's meta just suspended the No Kings Instagram account. I just rushed back from my local No Kings to jump on this. Bottom line, would be helpful for all pro-No Kings folks to elevate the issue and help us get the word out about No Kings today. The Nerd Reich strikes again.

An AI company now lets cops take a photo and nearly instantly figure out what specific home it was taken in, using only clues in the photo itself, and is clearly pulling data from sites like Zillow and Airbnb. www.404media.co/ai-company-l...

Promising to pay voters if they vote for a Republican? A federal crime, but no one pays attention -- not DOJ, not Congress. Will voters, or will enough of them normalize such behavior?

Just Security@justsecurity.org

President Donald Trump's promise to give out $5,000 "dividend" payments if Republicans retain control of Congress in the midterms could violate multiple federal criminal statutes that criminalize buying or coercing votes, write Bruce Swartz, Harry Seavey and Cara Barazia.

flock cameras are out of spec. the fact that they keep misreading license plates should get their company dragged in front of a court of law and charged with gross negligence, misconduct, and unprofessional conduct in the practice of engineering

Seems Meta is focusing on the right things.... their Like functionality has broken on Facebook... but i guess their core product is ads and selling user data these days so who needs a like button?

How is it not news when the president nods off in public meetings and press conferences dozens of times? If you follow independent media, you see it and know about it. But why hasn’t CBS, NBC or ABC showed a montage of it on their evening news? They simply refuse to ever show it.

In the continuation of sharing another Google Play store listing experiment we are running. We would have lost 50% of potential downloads if we didn't test this and so far it's a +15.38% increase in app installs with the new icon for our ad/app blocking platform play.google.com/store/apps/d...

This might be one of the creepiest AI hallucinations I’ve seen (yet). A college student on Reddit was using Claude to study German vocabulary when it suddenly said it needed to stop because it was going to be sick.

Me: Ok let's update the privacy page please... Claude: Ok I've created a new email address as requested... Me: Where did you get those emails from? Did you check the MD file it's detailed in there... Claude: Fair — I made those addresses up, and I was wrong about the domain too.
