One good way to show that you have no idea what you’re talking about is to compare SEO to GEO/AEO and put “E-E-A-T” as something that only matters in the GEO column.

48hrs to go... you ready? #SEOPundayMonday

Social media loves talking about how everything is getting worse. But what’s something that you’ve seen get _better_ in your lifetime?

OK. In the spirit of "If you build it, they will come" and "Why wait for someone else to do it? Do it yourself!" If I set-up a silly, just-for-fun, SEO-related word-game on here, who'd play? Think puns and fun. #WordyWednesday was one of my old Twitter faves - so along those lines.

5. HOW IT WORKS (example) contd... A *great* effort might be something like: "Maine Page Content #SEOPundayMonday" Ooooh... niche reference to the Google Quality Rater Guidelines *and* a US state from the theme? 👏👏👏 This'd definitely make the main thread!

3. IS THERE A PRIZE? The prize is: the respect of your peers, a warm-feeling inside and a smile or a laugh to start your week. The best/worst efforts will be added to that week's theme thread and the day's #SEOPundayMonday round-up post.

4. HOW DO YOU WIN/GET IN THE MAIN THREAD? I am the #SEOPundayMonday judge and jury -- but I can (and probably will) be totally swayed by peer pressure, engagement metrics or offers of biscuits. If everyone likes ❤️s and shares your effort, it's probably a good 'un and I'll add it to the thread.

1. HOW DOES IT WORK? Every Monday I will post and pin that week's theme (say "Dogs" or "Madonna Songs") etc. You conjure up your best search marketing-related puns, post them with the #SEOPundayMonday hashtag and the games begin!

Great article. And it’s amazing how much both formats get out of a few kb. Honestly unless I zoomed in really, really close, and flicked back and forth I couldn’t really tell difference between low quality and the top one! 100kb is more than enough for most web images IMHO. And maybe even 30-50kb?

Wary of asking this pretty much anywhere else but... anyone got any recommendations for domain drop catching services? Basically, a client wants to watch [x] domains and if they become available buy them or at least get a heads-up.

And for at least a bit of real world data, Bluesky continues to be the largest single source of traffic (after search) to @techdirt.com. I don't think Threads has ever shown up in any list of referrers. Ever.
